Senate Race Update
Current Senate make up:
Democrats-(57 ) Independ.-( 2 ) Republican-( 41).
There are 37 seats available in the 2010 election. This cycle the normal amount would be 34 seats, the extra 3 come from the replacement in 2008 of seats held by Obama,Biden, and Clinton. Some of the races are yet to be firmed up but based on the best information at hand right now here is my take on what these races will do to change the face of the senate come November 2010.
2010 Vulnerable Seats
Arkansas-Baker(R) 51% Lincoln(D)39%
Missouri-Blount(R)49% Carahan(D)43% republican retirement
New York-RepublicanTBN34% Gilibrand(D)39%
New York-RepublicanTBN Schumer(D)
Colorado-Norton(R)49% Bennett(D)37%
Connecticut-Simmons(R)33% Blumemthal(D)56% democrat retirement
Nevada-Lowden(R)48% Reid(D)36%
North Dakota-Hoeven(R) DemocratTBN democrat retirement
Delaware -Castle(R) Biden(D)
Illinois-Kirk(R)39% Giannoulis(D)42%
Pennsylvania-Toomey(R)49% Spectar(D)40%
New Hampshire Ayotte(R)49% Hodes(D)40% republican retirement
Kentucky republican retirement
Ohio Portman(R)44%Fisher (D)37%republican retirement
California Fiorina(R)43% Boxer(D)46%
Iowa Grassley(R)
Florida Rubio(R)49% Meek(D)35%
Kansas republican retirement
Current Predicted Outcome of Likely Key Races
Arkansas
Missouri
New York
New York
Colorado
Connecticut
Nevada
North Dakota
Delaware
Illinois
Pennsylvania
New Hampshire
Kentucky
Ohio
California
Iowa
Florida
Kansas
A Net pick up 5 for the Rep.
Pick Ups coming from Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Nevada and Pennsylvania
Dems ( 52) Ind (2) Repubs (46)
Democrats Dodd, Dorgan, and Burris are being replaced by stronger candidates for the 2010 race, which impacts my earlier prediction of a possible net pick up of 9, possibly 10 for the Republicans.
Close races which the Republicans still have a good chance of pulling an upset-Illinois,NewYork(Gilibrand), and an outside chance in North Dakota ,California.
By picking up these 4 seats the Senate would then be flipped. Dems ( 48)Ind(2) Repubs.(50).
Let's support the opposition in these battleground states against these Obamaist Democrats.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
