I too called the Pentagon

After learning the Spokesman for the Army, LtCol Chris Garver was "unavailable" I proceeded to contact the office of the Sgt Major of the Army. Sgt Maj. Preston was unavailable as well, but I did talk with another long striper.

After covering the Lakin/Obama song and dance, I was told "Sir thank you for your opinion but as for this enlisted man, I execute my orders and drive on".

Wrong I said. What if those orders are unlawful? "Sir?" What if you have an impostor who has put on the uniform, would you follow his orders? "Sir?"

Do you remember Nuremberg? "Yes Sir, what about it?" The Germans being tried for crimes against humanity for gassing the Jews, claimed they were just following orders as well.

Please keep that in mind. " uh thank you sir I will."

Not an easy time or circumstance for our blessed military to be put under. But a good man can not be allowed to go down, no matter who gets their feelings hurt.

Where is F'in' Patton when we need him? Isn't it about time for him to reincarnate and appear on the scene to save the day.

"Darkly through the ages as if through a looking glass....."

BTW both of my US Senator offices switchboards were ablaze, so I called their Texas offices and railed on them for walking around with their thumbs placed in a not so complimentary fashionable place.
