I believe that LTC Lakin suspected that his You Tube video about Obama being ineligible would unite the country to demand that Obama release all of his records and prove that he is a natural born citizen. This did not happen due to several reasons.
The media manipulation and blackout on LTC Lakin's refusal to go to Afghanistan unless Obama proved he was eligible to be president, but most importantly the Fox News and conservative talk radio blackout. Sure Michael Savage mentioned eligibility a few times, but the power of Fox News was needed to make the Obama eligibility issue grow. Mentioning Lakin for 30 seconds like Brett Baier was just not enough play to the national audience.
Glenn Beck's ridiculing of the birther movement (the leader of the Anti-Birther movement) also scared many Tea Party people away from the issue. I can not tell you how many times people e-mailed me that they know and believe that Obama is not eligible, but they were afraid to be labeled as "crazy". You can thank Glenn Beck for this, because these Americans did not want to go against Beck's wishes to support the Obama Eligibility movement.
The average person does not have time to do research all day long on the lies and deception of the Democrat Party and the Marxist Usurper Obama. They just watch Beck or Bill O' and then it is time to help the kids with their homework. Many people still have no idea who LTC Lakin is or the fact that he is being denied a fair trial and thrown into jail in the dark of night with as little people knowing as possible. Meanwhile, Julian Assange gets more air time in one day then LTC Lakin has gotten during this entire ordeal.
You know when FOX, CNN AND MSNBC are reading the same script, some major cover up is going down. Plus, the left wing vermin on the Internet go into panic mode with all out assaults whenever anyone dares to bring up this issue. They have come here a few times, but I bloody their noses and send them back to the cellar where they belong. They really belong in prison camps, because the American lying LEFT will do anything they can to further their destructive agenda and LTC Lakin is like dog shit on their shoes to them. We all know how much the left are haters of the U.S. MILITARY.
I also believe that LTC Lakin suspected that many other officers would rally behind him, but that was not the case at all. The isolation of LTC Lakin wore him down to the broken man that we are seeing today. Al Qaeda terrorists are treated better than LTC Lakin was treated. I am talking mental abuse and allegations of harassment by other officers. This is what happens when you take on a machine like the U.S. Military and Washington DC. Especially when so many fingers are involved in this cover up.
Terrorists at Gitmo are treated better than LTC Lakin was. The mental abuse and abuse of his rights to a fair trial would never be tolerated even for a member of Al Qaeda. Take a look at the way the military is treating Lakin as compared to Major Hasan the Ft Hood shooter.
Obama and the left wing vermin on the Internet that still protect him have a lot to hide in regards to Obama's ineligibility. Their panic reeks of desperation to make this issue go away, but they can not due to the fact that we all know they are liars.
The refusal of the National Tea Party movement to pick up the Lakin court martial was a NATIONAL DISGRACE and it also undermined his chance for all Americans to know about hismission to expose Obama once and for all. Many of these so called constitutionalists are full of crap, because they love to quote the founding fathers; yet they hide under their beds when the eligibility issue is brought up.
Where is Ron Paul and Judge Napolitano? They supposedly are big constitutionalists, that support WikiLeaker Julian Assange, but they are MIA on LTC Lakin's court martial.
I also blame the Tea Party people that were hushed into silence on this issue, because they lacked the courage to open their mouths to defend LTC Lakin and he is now paying the price for the Tea Party ABANDONING HIS BRAVE MOVEMENT. You people seem to forget that there are many left wing libertarians in the Tea Party movement and these are the same Independent rocket scientists that voted for the Usurper in the first place.
LTC Lakin made a tremendous mistake pleading guilty to ANY CHARGES, but I can sense that he is under tremendous pressure to be silent and take the hit like a man. I believe that Lakin pleading guilty undermined his entire purpose of refusing to go to Afghanistan due to illegal orders. It also undermined my idea to try and get a national movement to convert the Tea Party into one big Free Lakin movement. Lakin was put into this position thanks to cowards like John McCain, because McCain refused to demand that a hearing be held for Obama to clear up the allegations about his natural born status.
UPDATE - Lakin took a plea for a lighter sentence and a chance to back of of this and still finish his time in the military. He basically made a deal with the devil to save his ass, but who can blame him? He was on his own since day one anyway. Without the Tea Party and Fox News in his corner, he might as well be on a raft in shark infested waters.
You have witnessed the persecution of LTC Lakin, the unfair trial and soon the imprisonment never to be heard from again in the media. They want him locked up ASAP and throw away the key, label him as crazy the same way that the LEFT does to all of their dangerous enemies.
LTC Lakin was a greater danger to Obama than Glenn Beck was, but try to tell that to his brainwashed Kool aid drinking fans. You people blew a huge opportunity and you abandoned a patriot like LTC Lakin for a TV actor with a blackboard. This trial was fixed, a decorated and COMPETENT Officer was denied discovery evidence, because in the words of the trial judge "it could embarrass the president".

3. Expect the media and Tea Party leaders to continue to be silent on the LTC Lakin's unfair trial, because they do not want to ruin their open invitation to Fox News. So, they will continue to read the SAME SCRIPT that is handed to them, because they are controlled opposition.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
