Obama/Biden Political Solutions

On today's network morning political review programs Dick Cheney and Joe Biden have conducted a running battle debating the merits of their approaches to the War on Terror.

Biden voiced the political solution, Cheney the military, which leads to a political solution.

The notion of usurpation holds much appeal to the current regime. It is reminiscent of the marathon race cheat that waits at the 26th mile then enters the race ahead of the field to claim victory. Biden's claim that the Iraq success will go down as a great Obama achievement fits the bill. No need to review the f acts, we already know the johnny-come -latelyness of the democrat help.

Iraq is a success inspite of, not because of the help from Harry Reid's the war is lost, Pelosi's cut off of funds, Clinton's unilaterally withdrawal pledge the moment of her election, plagiarized by Obama for want of an original thought.

Political solution you say. World War II at the outset was a failed political solution. The best of intentions were thrown in the face of Chamberlain at Munich, and Roosevelt at Pearl Harbor. It was not until a military decision was won, that a political solution was arrived at during that period.

We were attacked September 11, 2001. We've been slow on the uptake prior to that in not recognizing the acts of war against us, such as the USS Cole, our embassy being bombed in Kenya and numerous other acts.

The Afghanistan War is not a place for political solutions or mirandizing the opposition. The Taliban are no less an ally of Al Qaeda, than Italy and Japan were Germany's. The opportunity for political solution has passed, just as it did December 7, 1941. We will find no peace by not fighting back, only more terror.
