Via Free Republic by way of RCP, this is one of the most startling examples of absolute total stupidity from Congress I have seen in a long time.

Democrat Representative of Georgia’s 4th District, Hank ‘the brainiac’ Johnson, struggles with english to describe two dimensions, length and width, and voices fear that the Island of Guam is in danger of tipping over like a boat and sinking due to US Navy personnel presence.
House Mistress Pelosi must be so proud of Socialist morons like Johnson working in her House who lack basic intelligence and do as told. They are so easy to control… just tell them whether to vote yea or nay and you’re all set!
Don’t anyone tell Hank ‘the brainiac’ Johnson that islands are not dirt boats floating on water… he might call you a RAAACIST for making him look like the idiot he is.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
C'mon GUL, you're so picky picky. Give the guy a break. This was his moment in the sun - a chance to shine. Boy, did he make the admiral look like a fool.
ReplyDeleteA conclusion that can be drawn is that Hank Johnson's staff all graduated from the same school where, incidentally Maxine Waters graduated summa cum laude. They couldn't even provide Hank with a definitive written question to ask.
