Time For A Velvet Revolution

The trouble with these D.C. marches is the lack of staying power.

What are you planning to do on your family vacation this year? Are you going to take one? May I suggest going on a camping trip? It's fairly cheap to camp out. There's hiking and picture taking and meeting new people. Songs around the campfire. May I suggest a destination?

Washington D.C. at the base of the Washington Monument.

Instead of a million or two of your closest friends, making a cameo, in September, why not schedule this year's vacation, as a protest trip. Spend a week. When your vacation ends, others will be arriving to take over your vacated campsite.

If Obama can squat in the Oval Office, we have the same right to squat on the National Mall for a week at a time, who owns the damn thing anyway?

What to do, while in DC oh I don't know..... Protest perhaps, corner a congressman about a certain Usurper....

Ham and eggs in the morn', tear gas in the afternoon ahhhh that's living.

Imagine a constant presence of outraged citizens in our Capitol. Daily marches, torch lit parades every night. Bring along your cell phones, as you march along call your elected officials and ask them to look out their windows and wave to the crowds as we troop by everyday. Obama couldn't fly out forever.

Yes Obama, America's chickens are coming home to roost.

This could be our logo, a Rooster. Our official cry- Squawk, Squawk,Squawk. An egg (rotten would be good)our official symbol. Good for throwing at passing motorcades and government buildings. In particular, the White black man's House.

Pick your bitch du jour, unemployment, big government, taxes, I like ineligibility.
Maybe we could have sections in the campgrounds for the various bitchgroups.

Thinking always thinking.

I may put a humorous spin to things, but why not a velvet revolution? Do you have something better to do with your vacation time this year? Going to Cancun or Cabo won't save America. Let this year's trip be about patriotism.

Steve
