Juan Williams Having A Shirley Sherrod Moment
How unfair that NPR would fire Juan Williams for exercising his 1st Amendment right. Shirley Sherrod was his first contact, passing on the name of her discrimination attorney. Oh, the humanity....
Juan Williams has made his recent living holding the constitutional mirror up in the faces of the Tea Party Right. No Park 51 Mosque ? You Bigots, my NPR boss says to skewer you on every level. Juan Williams has carried Obama's water, Al Sharpton's water, Jesse Jackson's water, the Muslim's water, that was used to waterboard them with. Up was turned to Down, by Williams because that's what Obama and Obama's NPR wanted from him.
Now that it is personally costing Williams; Juan of a Kind, is screeching 1st amendment violation. Could we get an Article II violation from Williams while we are at it? Fat Chance.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
