On To Legislative Business

Less than half a month to go, and the lame duck 111th is attempting to cram down a revised START Treaty, a major shift in policy for our military with DADT, an amnesty plan, a stimulus /economy tax rate stifling plan and a trillion dollar spending bill.

Every one of these pieces of legislation present the nation's majority with a false choice dilemma. A republican no vote will be painted as anti-hispanic, anti-gay, anti-peace, and anti-middle class.

There is no room for compromise in any of this legislation. It is going to be up to the senate to stop by 41 votes all of these remaining bills. By accepting the now bastardized tax bill which has turned into stimulus III, the senate right, will now depend on the house left to kill this bill. It may happen. Pelosi and gang may consider denying the "rich" their tax breaks will be worth cutting off the 99er's from 13 months more of unemployment payments.

Let the government shut down. Let the tax rates go up in January and let the economy fall into a depression, say no to amnesty, let the unemployed scramble, keep our nukes for national protection. January is not that far away. If Obama thinks he can survive by pissing off every segment both left and right then let him try. The republicans will do better in the eyes of the majority by saying no now, than they will by compromising with these New World Order devils .
