Hawaii Pacific Health: The Hunt for the Original Photos

In an effort to get at the truth absent WorldNetDaily’s cooperation, I wrote Hawaii Pacific Health (HPH) last night and requested the original photo files from which the ‘Kapi’olani Letter’ images published by WorldNetDaily were created. In addition, I requested the information that was provided by them to WorldNetDaily for their article on this subject from July 16, 2009. For anyone else interested in contacting HPH for more information, I contacted them through their website. In fact, I urge anyone and everyone to request the photos and information. It’s very easy to ignore one person, it’s much more difficult ignore many.

I just cannot see any reason HPH would have to object to releasing the original photo files, UNLESS all of the photos are NOT of the same document. After all, the close-ups and the reduced quality & modified version of the entire letter have been posted at WorldNetDaily for a year and a half:
Dear Staff at HPH-
I run a blog that reports on my personal investigation into the controversy surrounding President Obama’s birth certificate and I would like to publish the photos of the letter you provided to WorldNetDaily for their article: Birth Hospital: Letter for Real?’
However, I would like the original high resolution, unmodified/unedited files. In particular, I request the original, unedited, high-resolution photo file that was used to create the following jpeg images as published by WND:

http://www.wnd.com/images/misc/placeofmybirth.jpg

And, I would also like the original, unedited, high-resolution photo file from which this cropped close-up was extracted:

According to WorldNetDaily, these photos originated from Kaela Peters, Director of Marketing and Communications.
Because it has FINALLY been noticed that the image of the raised Presidential seal is on a completely different sheet of paper (cream with a texture) than the rest of the images of the letter (they appear to be photos of a smooth, white sheet), Kapi’olani Hospital appears to be caught up in an apparent attempt to deceive the public. Furthermore, the file data indicates the seal was created from a unique original digital photo whereas the other three photos originated from the same original photo file.
Honestly, I have no idea who is directly responsible for the deceptive photos and information published in the captions of the WND article in question, but I do want to report further on the discrepancies that were noticed and therefore, it’s important that the original photo files are disclosed for public consumption. According to WND’s article, HPH is responsible for providing the photos. Please allow me to help clear that up with my readers if this is not the case.
Also, if you would please provide me the same information you provided WorldNetDaily regarding these photos, I would very much appreciate it as would my readers.
Furthermore and FYI, I intend to publish this request for the original photo files on my blog.
I regret any inconvenience this may cause, but thank you for your attention to this matter.
Thank you,
MissTickly
(Note: I corrected two typos and the name of the article published by WND for this version.)
