
On August 18,Obama called for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to give up power and resign after launching reprisal attacks against his own people. In a coordinated condemnation with European allies and the UN,the president “ordered the freezing of all Syrian assets within American jurisdiction,banned imports of Syrian oil,and barred American citizens from having any business dealings with the Syrian government.”
The daily uprisings against the Syrian government is being backed and influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood.
In March 2011,Obama called for the Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi to stop oppressing his population and step down. In a coordinated effort with European allies,the UN condemned the Libyan dictator.
Obama signed an executive order to freeze Libyan assets,and called for sanctions against Libya. The uprising was backed by a collection of extremists,including the Muslim Brotherhood.
In January 2011,Obama dispatched an envoy to Egypt to ask President Hosni Mubarak to step down amid high tensions provoked by anti-government protests. Again,the uprising was backed by the Muslim Brotherhood.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
