Thieves loaded a cart with all the fixings for a barbecue – from chickens, sausage, steaks and ribs to salad veggies and chips – and tried to exit the Katy Brookshire Brothers grocery store July 8 without paying.
Their getaway car a white Nissan hatchback was abandoned within a few blocks, however, and all three occupants of the vehicle fled. Katy police quickly arrested two individuals with the help of a bystander. A third male suspect is still at large, (Ed.Note: and probably carrying a bbq drumstick, which would qualify him as armed and pretty hungry) said Katy Police Lt. R.L.Samuels.
Samra Marie Robertson, 18, of College Station and Jules David Dupuy, 22, of Tomball were arrested and charged with a Class B misdemeanor in the $185.76 theft of groceries.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
