Peace Talks Being Used To Prop Up Obama Polls In Free Fall

Comrade Hillary just announced middle east peace talks are to be held in Washington D.C. starting September 2. There is to be a one year time frame, with the hardest issues taken up first.

This is amazingly naive. The Palestinian Authority has a laundry list of "pre conditions" which they want Israel to concede, before they even start to talk about major issues.

Jerusalem, right of return, and 1967 borders, three issues alone that will stop these talks dead in their tracks.

Everything the PA wants spells the end of Israel. Nothing the PA would agree to guarantees the other 57 Muslim states would promise to live peacefully with Israel.

All of this is being staged for Obama's benefit right before the mid-terms.

  1. Steve: Totally agree this is the current Obama strategy - but, if anyone really believes peace for Israel is a possibility at any time, let's take a look at the history of the region. We're talking 3,000 years which have been nothing but turmoil. You'll see Muslim influence and brutality throughout that time. Later, when the United Nations officially partitioned the area in 1948,Israel was internationally recognized and authorized as joint tenants. The reality is that no one in the region was ever going to accept their right to be there, and have fought them openly and clandestinely ever since. The hostility was always there and is still there. Nothing changed, except that they are physically there.

In our modern age, the enemies of Israel are being supported by the supposed friends of Israel, of which the U.S. is one. When Arafat was around he played us as suckers and kept taking our largesse and never had the slightest intention of accepting a treaty of entente cordial. Palestine's economy is not product driven - it's based on the money it receives from the U.S., and others. Abbas pretends to be the voice of reason but is no better than Arafat except he dresses like a gentleman [sic].

History proves that the Israeli position is a lost cause, always has been - and always will be with friends like the Obama administration.

We have now convinced Israel that Iran's nuclear capability cannot occur for at least a year. Tough luck Israel, you just got snookered...and so did the American people.

  2. What does Obama think he is going to accomplish in the peace process? He just let Iran go nuclear. Why doesn't he focus on that problem instead of trying to force Isreal to disarm.
