Bo Obama Faced Possible Quarantine in Hawaii, Asked to Produce Papers

This from a writer on Michelle Malkin's blog. I find it interesting that this "type" of a story is running on her site. Malkin along with all the Fox acolytes have steered well clear of the eligibility issue. Malkin carefully vets her reader comments section. As you can see clearly from this sampling, most of her readers are well aware of Obama's eligibility question. How long does it take for one of these celebrity bloggers to stand on the correct side of this issue and speak out.

Here’s what troubles me about this: If you just wanna take your dog out for ice cream in Hawaii and you don’t have your papers, you’re gonna get harassed — that just doesn’t seem right:

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – While President Barack Obama and his family have been coming to Hawaii for vacation almost every year, it will be the first island visit for “First Dog” Bo. If he passes a veterinary exam when he lands, he’ll be allowed to follow the Obama ohana to Kailua immediately.

He can do so under the state’s “Five-Day-Or-Less” quarantine program, which has been on the books since 2003. Bo met the requirements, but the process began months in advance.

“It would take at least four months to qualify for the Five-Day-Or-Less quarantine, which has a provision for direct release at the airport if the owners do things as required,” said state Agriculture Department spokeswoman Janelle Saneishi.

For starters, there’s a $165 fee per pet. The dog or cat also has to have had at least two rabies shots in its lifetime, with the most recent one at least 90 days before it travels to Hawaii. It also has to have a microchip for identification, and have a blood test for rabies. Then there’s a 120-day wait after the animal passes the blood test before it can enter the state. There’s also paperwork to certify that all the requirements have been met.
Wow, that’s more thorough vetting than the MSM did on Bo’s master in 2008.

There is a rumor going around that Bo didn’t have the proper paperwork to enter Hawaii but they let him in anyway — but that’s coming from a group of conspiracy nuts known as “Woofers” so just disregard it.

I guess we won’t be traveling to Hawaii with our dogs, ever. Our female dog had a bad reaction to her first rabies shot and can never have another one. When I researched it, I was surprised to find that there are many dogs that have this issue. Fortunately, our dogs are indoor dogs for the most part. Since they’re small, they aren’t allowed outside without a human, they are the perfect sized snack for coyotes, foxes, and owls.

Not that Hawaii is on my bucket list anyway, expensive tropical getaways aren’t my thing. Give me a European museum any day or a day following the Freedom Trail in Boston.

How about a dog gets more scrutiny than a candidate for Illinois State Senator, or a candidate for US Senate, or candidate for President of the United States. Barack Obama hasn’t been asked to produce ANYTHING to even substantiate the bare minimum requirement to even RUN for public office, let alone actually HOLD one.

Until I see Obama’s birth certificate (rather than a phony “certificate of live birth”), I will know in my heart that he’s a non-citizen of the United States, and is criminally operating within the White House in order to bring our once-great (thanks to the “progressives” in our government and in the media) to destruction.
