It has been over 70 years since the U.S. House of Representatives began investigations into Communist infiltration of American society. The now-infamous 'House Committee on Un-American Activites' of the 40s and 50s was implemented by Democrats who controlled the chamber.
As Republicans prepare to become the majority in the House in 2011, a question arises as to whether or not a GOP-controlled House will expose un-American activites that appear to be rampant since the resurgence of the political Left in 2006 and 2008.
U.S. Representative Darrell Issa, R-California, has notified the White House in advance that it would be prudent not to shred any documents whatsoever. The warning suggests that Issa has already begun collecting evidence that would implicate Obama Administration officials in various corruption scandals, and that he will issue subpoenas for more evidence from the White House.
Issa will become Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in January.
Republicans have already made it clear that the practice of abdicating the responsibility for proper oversight of the government by the 111th Congress, both chambers of which have been controlled by Democrats since 2006, is entirely unacceptable. The GOP has long decried the practice of the Democratic majority in allowing the White House and its bankrollers such as the Tides Foundation, the Center for American Progress, and SEIU to write legislation, control significant sectors of the Executive Branch, and submit bills to Congress that were automatically approved without having been read.
Issa and his colleagues in the House have indicated that such practices will be stopped cold. Further, they have stated their intention to take back the power of governmental oversight which the Democrats abdicated and which the Constitution ascribes to Congress, not to the Executive Branch and certainly not to murky, dubious groups with hidden agendas outside the government.
But beyond the most obvious places for Issa's investigations to focus, such as the various corruption scandals involving Administration officials, the House committee may well find itself confronted with a most disturbing set of factors not yet made public--blatant un-American activities on the part of high ranking Administration officials with deep connections to subversive groups that threaten the very foundation of the free Republic.

Available information suggests that the GOP House will be forced to deal with un-American activities within the government.
In an article written by Cliff Kincaid of 'Accuracy in Media,' the author states that there is a direct link between Barack Obama and his closest associates, and the Communist Party in America.
The report confirms strong suspicions that the Obama team's ideological foundation was formed by close associations with a litany of individuals who hold a clear disdain for American democracy as encapsulated in the U.S. Constitution and a deeply-held desire to see that democracy's demise.
Obama has admitted that during his formative years in college he sought out and was tutored by Marxist professors. Later, during his days as a 'community organizer' in Chicago he helped groups like ACORN grow stronger, in addition to providing legal assistance. He joined Jeremiah Wright's leftwing congregation of the United Church of Christ, which taught that 'liberation theology' was a reflection of the teachings of Jesus, when in fact the liberation school of thought was born out of the Marxist movement in Latin America.
When Obama first entered politics, he ran for the state legislature in Illinois on the 'New Party' ticket.
And what was the 'New Party?' 'NP' was the name given to a new coalition of Socialists, Marxists, and extreme Leftwing Democrats who believed that the country should move in the direction of Karl Marx. Most of the members of the 'New Party' came from ACORN and the 'Democratic Socialists of America.'
In addition, despite the claim by Obama that unrepentant homegrown terrorist William Ayers was someone he knew only nominally, it was Ayers who funded and launched Obama's political career out of his own living room.
Ayers and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, were founders of the infamous and lawless 'Weather Underground' in the 1960s.
Claims that these dubious associations were the mere indiscretions of a youthful and immature Barack Obama do not withstand the scrutiny of the factual spotlight. Obama's closest associates in the White House are all part of a rather small and tight-knit circle of Leftwing subversive extremists whose vision for the country is diametrically opposite to that of the Framers of the Constitution.
Valerie Jarrett, Rahm Emanuel, Larry Summers, David Axelrod, Van Jones, Mark Lloyd, Anita Dunn, Cass Sunstein, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, Andy Stern, John Holdren, Kevin Jennings, Ron Bloom, Todd Stern, Maurice Strong, Elena Kagan, Carol Browner, and Dr. Donald Berwick are but a few of the Leftwing extremists among Obama's appointees and closest associates. A study into the activities and ideology of these individuals will reveal that they are so far outside the American mainstream that most citizens would be frightened if they were fully informed about the nature of the individuals holding powerful offices in the land.
Add to the mix the Marxist ideology inherent in organizations such as the Center for American Progress, the Tides Foundation, the Joyce Foundation, SEIU, and ACORN--all of which Obama has endorsed--and it becomes all too clear that a distinct thread of Communist-styled policy preferences runs throughout the fabric of the entire Administration.
And should Rep. Issa go in the direction of the various scams operated by some of these very individuals, such as the now-defunct 'Chicago Climate Exchange,' which intended to make billions of dollars off of unsuspecting citizens who would purchase so-called 'carbon credits' in the belief that this would 'save the environment,' a Pandora's box of horrors awaits the Administration...AND the unsuspecting public to boot.
An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
