EXCERPT FROM CANADA FREE PRESS ARTICLE, "ARE WE READY FOR PRES. SARAH PALIN?" by Sandy Stringfellow...

...It has become quite clear (as of this writing), through the recent behavior of Speaker of the House John Boehner, that it’s not enough for the Tea Party to merely win a landslide mid-tern election.  These candidates were elected to establish the most well-defined Conservative mandate since 1980: defund Obama-care, however it can be done, by any and all means possible; kill the bill that socializes our health care, and do it immediately.

Tea Party candidates who were swept into office campaigned on doing exactly that. Speaker Boehner ran on the same platform as well, and has stated publicly that he would do the same.

Immediately following the election, Speaker Boehner hand selected his lieutenants, bypassing the normal process of having contenders vying for various positions of leadership compete for support among their peers.
Speaker Boehner’s blatant gamesmanship and heavy-handed tactic of political maneuvering to cement his authority guaranteed that he would have no dissenting voices among associated leadership positions in the House of Representatives.

The opportunity to pull the trigger and defund Obama-care was before Speaker Boehner, yet predictably, as an entrenched career political hack, he didn’t have the guts or the integrity to do it.

  1. In point of fact the Republican Party is blowing smoke. I posted this comment (below) on 2-9-11 after reading "RIGHT BETWEEN THE SHOULDER BLADES" by Aaron Cantor. It's prevalent today just as it was then. The freshman intake is a total disaster. None of these people were honest in their campaign promises. They have no intention of being anything but career politicians. The perks and the power are too great. The long term means nothing to them regarding the sanctity of the Constitution or their oath. Their silence is deafening.

    Here is the comment:

If there are any delusional people left who believe that 2012 is going to be our safe harbor, our turning point - please disavow yourself of that notion. Our 2010 election efforts have produced nothing but a new crop of professional politicians in the making - the silence is deafening - and the Republican party is a partner in crime with the Democrats. All of their current activities are designed to convince us that they are paying attention to 'the will of the American People.' (God, I'm so sick of that trite expression). All they're doing is using up time until November 2012 when they think we will decimate the Democratic party. You can be assured that when that time comes you won't want R's or D's in a position of power. What will we do then? The two-party system is finished. We will need a Constitutional Committee to lead America. The Founding Father's must rise from history's ashes. We should be led by patriots who have only one priority - America First as dictated by the Constitution. We must return to morality, decency, and justice for all.

  2. "Power corrupts. Absolute power, corrupts absolutely." That principle applies at ALL levels. Thus, the need for term limits is strongly validated. In the absence of term limits; we MUST advocate removal of incumbents WHO VIOLATE their Campaign pledges! "Boot Boehner" should be the mantra from NOW to the elections of 2012.
