Wrecked”Under Obama

Ben Johnson,The White House Watch

Three years into the Obama administration, and 29 months after the putative end of the Great Recesion, only seven percent of Americans have returned to the income they enjoyed before the recession. A new study finds fully 69 percent of Americans have experienced devastating economic conditions during Barack Obama’s time in office. Many have forsaken medical treatment, reduced their food budgets, borrowed money,or sold possessions to stay afloat. And a sizable percentage has no hope that its lot will ever change.
The study, which was released today,is entitled “Categorizing the Unemployed by the Impact of the Recession” and was conducted for the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University.
Its authors surveyed nearly 4,000 Americans in August 2009,March 2010,November 2010,and August 2011.
Fully 69 percent of respondents ranked themselves “Downsized,”“Devastated,”or “Totally Wrecked.”
The survey divided the results into five categories….

Must-See Gun Company Ad Compares Obama to Hitler,Stalin

CBS Washington

A gun company advertisement that warns of impending gun control compares President Obama to Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin.
The USAAmmo ad shows side-by-side pictures of Obama with Hitler,Stalin, and other dictators who committed atrocities across the world. The ad,which is also accompanied by a video, warns that gun control is imminent and foreshadows that the U.S. could face millions in casualties if they are not allowed to defend themselves.
USAAmmo states that “tyranny is knocking down the doors of American cities daily” and that Obama,Attorney General Eric Holder, and other gun control advocates “are secretly conspiring American Citizens of the right to bear arms.”
Trace Williams, director of operations for USAAmmo, defended the ad that was emailed Monday. He told CBS Washington that “Obama and his various czars are infringing on the rights of Americans to own guns.”
“He’s anti-gun and he’s obviously a socialist cramming health care down American’s throats,” Williams said. “That is exactly how those people in that ad rose to power”….

You Have No Privacy

Floyd and Mary Beth Brown,WND.com

If you are like us,every day you pick up a smartphone and you send e-mail,visit with friends on Facebook, send a text message or even log into your bank’s website and pay a bill. These modern-day conveniences have become routine.
We all believe that our passwords are secure, our data protected, and life is easier if we don’t have to write a check to pay a bill or dig around and find a stamp to send a friend a quick note.
But this morning we are no longer sure. The tech world is in a fury, which we believe will soon break out into society at large, about a little-know software program call Carrier IQ. Over the Thanksgiving weekend,a 25-year-old programmer by the name of Trevor Eckhart posted a video on YouTube that graphically displays how our naïve beliefs of privacy are just plain wrong.
The video – which lasts 17 minutes and starts slowly because he methodically goes through the privacy statements on his cell phone – is frightening. If you watch it,you will never look at your smartphone the same again. We have posted the video at Floydreports.com if you want to watch….

Fast and Furious,Only Part of Obama/Holder’s International Plan?

Doug Book,FloydReports.com

Mens rea is Latin for “guilty mind.” In legal theory acting to set up a crime before committing it indicates a guilty mind;or guilty intent.
In the spring of 2009,just a few months before the Obama Administration instructed the Phoenix ATF office to commence Operation Fast and Furious,Attorney General Eric Holder introduced and secured a curious change to United States gun legislation.
The tracing of firearm serial numbers provides information about the manufacture of a weapon, its original retail seller and buyer, the entire known history of the weapon. For years,anti-gun rights zealots had procured these trace statistics from the Bureau of Alcohol,Tobacco and Firearms for the purpose of initiating frivolous law suits against both gun dealers and manufacturers.
Then,in 2004,Kansas Republican Rep. Todd Tiahrt successfully added an amendment to the yearly ATF funding bill. Known since as the Tiahrt Amendment, the legislation prohibits the sharing of….
