Biden hasn't changed a bit
Over the years I have watched Joe in action in the Senate and in my neighboring state of Delaware. He has more than lived up to that first impression. His actions in the vice-presidential debate, while surprising to many, were what I expected. Joe Biden in the debate was no different than he was in his days as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee or the Foreign Affairs Committee. His treatment of Clarence Thomas and Robert Bork was beneath contempt as Biden deliberately humiliated and denigrated both men through the use of lies and innuendo all the while exhibiting his toothy grin and smirk.
Perhaps he and the Obama team were determined to get back in the good graces of the Democratic Party base, and to some extent they may have succeeded. However, there will be one overriding remembrance of this so-called debate and that will be the antics of Joe Biden, who is more than willing to play the role of fool and hatchet man as assigned to him by his leader. A role he has willingly played his entire political career.
November 6th cannot come soon enough as this nation can finally rid itself of one of the slimiest and most dishonest politicians to ever cast his shadow across the political landscape of the United States.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
