Apparently, U.S. military commanders believe Muslim lives are more important than American lives.
You know the “botched” Navy SEAL raid on Somalia over the weekend?
The one over which Al-Shabaab is now claiming “victory” against the
United States? Yes, that one. Well, it turns out that the SEALs could
have carried out the mission and gotten their man, Al-Shabaab terrorist
Abdikadir Mohamed Abdikadir a/k/a “Ikrima.” But, in the middle of the
mission, their commander called off the raid because the SEALs were kicking terrorist butt, and the commander didn’t want any Muslim Al-Shabaab-supporting civilians and children harmed.
Yup, let’s hear it for putting Muslim lives–the lives of Muslims who
support Islamic terrorists that murder Westerners–above American lives!
Yay, America.
Muslims always see this as a sign of weakness. And this corrosive
“value for Muslim terrorist families’ lives” has afflicted America
to its detriment since Clinton, through Bush, and now to Obama. We
didn’t capture Bin Laden when we had the chance before the 9/11 bombings
because he was with women and children and Arab Muslim princes. We
didn’t carry out several necessary operations in Iraq and Afghanistan to
save American soldiers’ lives because Bush and Petraeus were obsessed
with capturing Muslim “hearts and minds” (how did that work out?). And
now this.
Remember, this guy was involved in bombing the U.S. Embassy in
Nairobi, Kenya. And he wouldn’t hesitate to murder more Americans and
attack more American sites. Al-Shabaab has already said they would not
hesitate to commit terrorist attacks on American soil, and they are already
here in our midst in great numbers, thanks to our wonderful immigration
system (several hundreds Al-Shabaab operatives gamed the system and
disappeared into America, according to government documents).
I’m sure the Navy SEALs who went on that mission and knew they could
carry it out successfully are pissed and embarrassed by their
“commander.” They should be, especially since their raid was painted
by the Obamaniks and their media partners (including FOX News) as a
“botched” mission. It was not. It was a called off mission. Called
off right in the middle, putting the SEALs’ lives at risk for no reason.
From today’s Wall Street Journal:
The U.S. commander on the ground called off the raid
after an intense firefight that left several militants dead, officials
said. A key factor in the decision was the presence of children
in the compound and the determination that it wouldn’t be possible to
capture Ikrima without inflicting civilian casualties, a U.S. official
said.
