Congressional investigation launched against Obama Regime
OBAMA PUSHES FOR NEW CONSTITUTION WHICH WOULD GIVE MUSLIMS SPECIAL PRIVILEGES AND PERMIT ABORTION FOR THE FIRST TIME IN KENYA

(May 12, 2010) — Kenya, an East African country identified by Minister James Orengo as Barack Hussein Obama’s birthplace, has been encouraged by Obama to “overturn its historic prohibition on abortions.”
Kenya has been overwhelmingly against abortion. However, the Obama regime has been heavily involved in attempting to convince President Kibaki and Prime Minister Odinga to adopt a new constitution which would allow abortion to be legalized. On April 1, 2010, after the Kenyan Parliament passed the proposed constitution, a press release from the White House followed which said, “”We are encouraged by the strong statements made by President Kibaki and Prime Minister Odinga in support of the draft.”
According to LifeNews, “While pro-life groups have been working directly with local pro-life advocates in Kenya to urge the nation’s residents to reject the proposed constitution when it comes up for a vote, the Obama administration is working for its adoption.” This reportedly includes the U.S. Ambassador to Kenya, Michael Ranneberger. Church leaders in Kenya are against the new constitution because of its abortion language and what it sees as special treatment of Muslims. One church leader who had held discussions with Parliament members was quoted as having said, “The Church is unable to compromise at all on the issue of life, the right to life, nor accept the provision that does not ensure the religious equality and equity, as in the concerns about the Kadhi courts.”
Laws against abortion in Kenya date back to 1897.
According to an article dated May 8, 2010, the new constitution is “the biggest overhaul of the nation’s laws since independence,” which Kenya gained from Great Britain in December 1963.
Three members of the U.S. Congress are calling for a probe into the Obama regime’s plan to funding the promotion of the revised Kenyan constitution. Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ), Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), and Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) claim that financial support may violate the Siljander Amendment, which states that “No foreign assistance funds may be used to lobby for or against abortion.”
Rep. Smith has stated that “the U.S. State Department has pledged to spend $2 million to build support for the proposed constitution.”
Some members of the Kenyan Parliament do not trust the “Committee of Experts” charged with educating the public on the new constitution prior to the referendum in July because of “the endorsement of the proposed constitution by some foreign countries, which were also funding the enactment of a new laws under the Agenda Four reforms,” which in their view, includes the United States.
An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
