A Fitting Role For Obama

Obama can do this one. Apologist-In-Chief. As the head man of the regime that can't get out of it's own way, Barack Obama finds himself apologizing to a mid level bureaucrat after Obama's own hand picked incompetents screwed up in firing one of their team players.

Racist or not racist, that is the question. I say the whole thing was full of racism start to finish, from the opening speech to the NAACP Convention which Michelle Obama kicked off by labeling the Tea Party as harboring racist elements, to Ben Jealous' tirade railing against the Tea Party, culminating with an agreeing audience murmuring uh huhs, and ya'sam's to the racial put downs of the white Alabama farmer Ms Sherrod is now infamous for helping. Sherrod's, I was a racist until I stopped being a racist, in the case of this one poor white farmer. She even admitted to racism by saying she referred him to "one of his kind' a "white lawyer". As has been pointed out Sherrod violated several civil service regulations, and the Hatch Act with her speech, all job terminatable offences.

Obama never quite seems to think about the next move or three ahead, he is a knee jerk reactionary, set piece player that can not veer from the script. Instead of having the people with the smarts he appointed direct this whole affair to a hearing before a civil service commission review board, Obama panics and allows the country's business wait while he bows down again. I wonder if his pants were even dry as he offered up his latest I'm Sorry. Is this guy whipped or what? Some Commander-In-Chief, some piece of work.

Political analysts have advised against re-hiring Sherrod because by doing so, the Obama regime would tacitly own everything that could be dug up or will occur in the future with Sherrod. For starters she is a recipient of a $300,000 lawsuit damages award which she filed against the Federal government. Once the taste of blood is in the mouth, it's only a matter of time until the next sampling. This woman must have been handled with the tenderest of kid gloves for years by her bosses. Man did Obama pick a wrong number to cross.

As we all awaited her decision, whether she would accept being re-hired for her "unfair" dismissal, and at her insistence, a direct conversation with Obama as a precondition to making her announcement, I already guessed which way Sherrod was going to jump.

True to form, she turned down the rehire offer, after she got her personal apology from the usurper himself. Now she's loaded for bear, next stop her attorney's office, and it's all documented. She couldn't very well take her old boss up on being taken back into the fold, she has been publicly humiliated on coast to coast television for heaven's sake. She was even branded a racist of all things. How many zeros will that add to the future lawsuit settlement? At least six additional. You see Sherrod was only letting Obama and Vilsack act superior to her, she was holding back the full force of what she could do for them. All the while they were talking down to her, trying to smooth things over and such, she had in her mind what she was going to do with all that money the court is going to give her. Sherrod has superceded her blackness for greenness. The most important color of all to Ms Sherrod.

But there is a silver lining in all of this because Ms Sherrod is going to learn, these crony political crooks, are okay people after all, and she will in time learn to love them, as she sits by her swimming pool of her new taxpayer purchased mansion.

See how Obama gets caught in his own snares. He sends Michelle to play Tea Party victim to stir up the racist rhetoric with the NAACP folk, they take it and run, has Biden play good cop by denying Tea party racism exists, then they fumble over Sherrod's non-racial, racial speech. You and I get splattered with the mess and America has to pick up the tab. Some leader, even as a usurper, Obama is a failure.
