What's In A Name?
Growing up here in Texas, I recall attending or seeing schools named Bonham,Travis, Ireland,Bowie, Crockett,Burnett,Gonzalez, Austin, Houston to name a few. There were more at least 186 all told. Are you following me? Austin and Houston were not a part of the exclusive club of 186 but they deserve some credit.
The aforementioned are names of men who died at the Alamo, March of 1836. We speak in revered tones when we speak these names in Texas. Every state in the Union has it's York's, Jefferson's Lincoln's, Lee's. We have these names as well here. the Alamo defenders just have a special place in our hearts.
We have Bush Elementary, both his and hers- G W H Bush and Barbara Bush. I'm sure Jr will get one named as well, heck might as well Laura Bush one too.
For the life of me though I just can't see an Obama anything named for him here, other than a fire hydrant.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
