What is Happening in America?

The past 30 years America has experienced the fad of Touchie Feelie. We have been chided from within and from overseas, as being, too rigid, too puritanical, or too this or that. To a degree, I agree with that assessment, we have needed to tone it down some,loosen up a bit, especially with our overseas partners. For the most part though we are still loved. I recall within days of the aftermath of 9/11 a story of how A Germany Naval warship rendered "honors" in passing alongside of an American warship in the Atlantic. A huge banner afixed to the side of the German ship, her crew at attention manning the rails. The banner read "We Stand With America". What a most perfect tribute by our friends. From a people who a scant 5 decades prior we had decimated only to become one of our closest friends and allies. I shed tears.

Our American ways, are what makes us, who we are,we can be brash,cocky,overbearing,crude,these and many other faults, but a better friend you will never find.

So we experiment, we self pyscho-analyze. we go down first this path,then that path,looking for enlightenment. Each with it profits and pitfalls. The results from our travels upon the path of political correctness, has yielded Barack Obama and his lunatic fringe leftist liberals. Consequently America is being run by what could be mistaken for fugitives from our Mentally Insane Asylums. The inmates are on the loose, they have gotten there hands on the keys to power, and we NORMALS are scurrying about with our butterfly nets, trying to recapture them, before they can harm someone or themselves.

This is what is happening in America.
