Sal Alinsky father of American Anarchists once chided some Georgetown University leftists by telling them they were going about protesting Bush's Iraq policy all wrong. by standing in the back shouting slurs. Alinsky advised them in order to be more effective , they should dress in KKK robes, sit on the front row and stand up and cheer everything Bush said.

Either way Candidate Lott has sliced his own throat. We've been saying for months beware of the Plants from the Left in this election. Some may even get elected, and when they suddenly vote against the Right side of the aisle we will know them then for what they are.
Soros almost pulled it off in NY 23 with DeeDee Scasofavo. She registered as a Republican but threw her support to the Left when she dropped out to Tea Party candidate Doug Hoffman.
Missouri's Carnahan (D) was caught on tape laughing about planting some off their people on the ballot; one as a Libetarian candidate, and another as a Constitution Party candidate, for the sole purpose of drawing off enough votes from the Republican challenger to provide the victory margin they need to win the election next month.
If Lott is a for real Republican he has shown incredible stupidity and a freak side nobody accepts as mainstream American. Even if this is only a crazy fantasy of his, with such a lack of judgement Lott has just disqualified himself. It's good we find out now rather than later. Fortunately the House is going to have more than enough non Leftists to still flip it.
I delved into this a little more. Ohio District 9 is rated by the NY Times as 100% safe for the democrats. Marcey Kaptur (D) a 28 year incumbent has won the last 4 elections with an average of 73% of the vote. Ohio 9 is a union district based in the northern Ohio town of Toledo. Kaptur is the 35th most senior member of congress, and a member of the congressional progressive caucus .
This Lott photo op/story is now sounding more like a planted leftist situation to me, not because Lott would be incapable of being this stupid, but why would Kaptur need to expose him when she has the district well in hand, save for the desire to steer other voters across the country away from "like minded bigot" Republicans running in other races.

An Ohio congressional candidate is under fire after a magazine unearthed a photo showing him dressed in a Waffen-SS uniform as part of a Nazi re-enactment group.
The Atlantic magazine, which published the photo, reported that Republican candidate Rich Iott was involved for years with Wiking, a group devoted to re-enacting the actions of the 5th SS Panzer Division Wiking. He told The Atlantic he joined as a "father-son bonding thing" and quit the organization several years ago after his son lost interest.
House Republican Whip Eric Cantor, R-Va., who is Jewish, said on "Fox News Sunday" that he "would absolutely repudiate" Iott's behavior.
An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
Lott is third from the left. The fellow third from the right is bizarrely dressed in a Scottish kilt and a Royal Air Force (RAF) tunic. Those of us who were involved in WWII will always view a Nazi with repugnance. There were thousands in the German military who were simply conscripts serving in the Army, Navy, Luftwaffe, and ancillary services.
ReplyDeleteCertainly Lott's activity has been brought to light specifically to malign him for political purposes. No comments from anyone about why German soldiers are embracing an RAF pilot in a comradely way. The reliving of history for the right reasons is acceptable. For the wrong reasons - unacceptable.
Conjecture can be misleading. Perhaps Mr. Lott can offer a contextual explanation?
Soros & Co., with his nation-wide "SoS Project" aimed at installing Democratic Sec of States all over the U.S. (in order to control and manipulate the voting process), did this with CA Sec of State nominee Damon Dunn. Dunn is a registered Democrat in 2 states - FL and TX - yet he got on the CA primary ballot as an "R", and, with corrupt leftist aid, won the "GOP" nomination. Now, we in CA do not have a Republican choice in Nov for Sec of State (the current one, Debra Bowen, is a Dem). So now we have 2 Dems to choose from - Dunn and Bowen. Orly Taitz ran in the primary, but they shouted her down because she's a "birther", and the stupid CA voters don't have a clue what they did in selecting Dunn.
