Rove to GOP: Drop the Birther Debate
“Within our party, we’ve got to be very careful about allowing these people who are the birthers and the 9/11 deniers to get too high a profile and say too much without setting the record straight,” Rove said Wednesday night on Fox News. “We need the leaders of our party to say, ‘Look, stop falling into the trap of the White House and focus on the real issues.’” Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin voiced the same thoughts at a speech in Woodbury, N.Y. Thursday, calling the birther debate “distracting” and “annoying.”

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
who are paying all these f*&^ing people to tell us 2+2 does not equal 4 and to "just drop it" ??!!
