Values Voter Summit Update 2: Dean Meets Rick Santorum

It is Friday, October 7, at the Values Voter Summit in Washington. If you've looked at the roster of guests you know it's the proverbial veritable alphabet whos-who soup of conservative leaders.

This morning at breakfast I chatted with Gary Bauer. Yesterday, during registration I ran into Michele Bachman. They each received a Birther Summit flyer.
The press is here in droves. The Slate published a great article with a cheery picture of Theresa Cao waving at the cameras. All the other major press are here as well.

Dean and Terry stroll through the lobby at the Values Voter Summit.
Everywhere I go persons of note are strolling about. Glenn Beck, Bill Bennet, Bobby Jindal, Ed Mees, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and a couple of dozen others rubbing elbows with the electorate.
As we walk through the lobby we run into Rick Santorum and his entourage just strolling through the lobby. They are followed by a phalanx of reporters and cameras.
Theresa Cao stops Rick and starts talking to him. She asks, "Do remember who I am? I was the only patriot to stand up in the Senate and declare the truth about Obama. For that I was arrested."
Rick politely replied with a politically correct 'thank you for your comment' and moved on.
Next I approached him and said, "Rick, I represent the Birther Summit. We are going to categorically demonstrate that Obama is not eligible to hold the office of President." Rick responded, "Do it."
As Rick walked away another member of the entourage pulled me aside and said, "I just want to let you know how much I appreciate what you are doing and how much we agree with you."
And so the adventure continues with many more to talk to.
Having fun. Wish you were here....
Dean, Charles, Patricia, and Erik
