LOOKS LIKE BARRY HAS SOME SPLAININ' TO DO TO MUCHELLE...

Was Barack Obama married in college?

Photos show ring on left hand before he was wed to Michelle

Was Barack Obama married when he attended college?

If not, then why do photographs of him at Occidental College and in New York City in the years when he was supposed to have attended Columbia University show him wearing a ring on the ring finger of his left hand?
First, consider the photograph of Obama taken with his grandparents, Stanley and Madelyn Dunham, on a park bench in front of Central Park, most likely along Fifth Avenue, as seen in Exhibit 1
Watch the video of Sheriff Arpaio’s Tuesday press conference on Obama’s eligibility. When you sign up for access, you’ll receive a copy of the official press release distributed at the conference.

The close-up in Exhibit 2 makes the wedding ring clearer:

Photos of Obama at Columbia clearly show ring
The ring is much clearer in photographs of Obama taken by Lisa Jack at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Two of Jack’s photographs, which were published by Time after the 2008 election, clearly show Obama with a ring on the ring finger of his left hand.
Exhibits 3 and 4 show the ring in one of Jack’s photos.

The ring is also clearly visible in a second photo from the session with Jack, as seen in Exhibits 5 and 6.

Jack did not return an email and a phone call asking her for comment on this story.
Still wearing ring in 1990
A photo taken of Obama on the night of the 1990 mid-term elections indicates he was still wearing the ring on his wedding-ring finger while he was a student at Harvard Law School, as seen in Exhibit 7.

Exhibit 8 is a close-up of the 1990 photo.

The same wedding ring?
The photographs of Obama in Exhibits 1-7 are not sufficiently detailed to determine if the ring seen in the above photographs is the same ring President Obama currently wears as his wedding ring.
On March 18, 2010, the Huffington Post published a close-up of President Obama’s wedding ring, seen in Exhibit 8, It was reported by the New York Times to be gold with an intricate design and made in Indonesia.

WND was unable to find any published discussion of rings Obama wore prior to his marriage to Michelle Robinson on Oct. 3, 1992.
Barack and Michelle reportedly became engaged in 1991 after a dinner at Gordon’s Restaurant on Clark Street in Chicago.
Where was the father’s wedding ring?
Barack Obama’s propensity to wear a wedding ring appears in sharp contrast to his father’s not wearing a wedding ring at Harvard University.
In 2009, after Michelle Obama publicly described her husband’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, as “very young and very single” when giving birth to the future U.S. president, WND reported three photos of Barack Obama Sr. have surfaced, raising further doubt the two were actually married.
Three photos of Barack Obama Sr. attending a University of Hawaii party in the early 1960s have surfaced on the Internet, showing the president’s father enjoying the company of his fellow university students without the presence of Ann Dunham.
The photographs are identified as having been taken at the home of Arnie and Suzie Nachmanoff, in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, “in the early 1960s.”
One photo shows Barack Obama Sr. smoking a cigarette and talking with an attractive young woman identified on the website only as “Dorothy.”
In this photograph, seen here as Exhibit 9, Barack Obama Sr. is clearly not wearing a wedding ring.

While the possibility remains the photographs were taken before Obama Sr. met Ann Dunham, testimonies from Obama’s fellow students at the University of Hawaii that accompany the photographs make no mention that Barack Obama Sr. was ever associated with Dunham, at the time the photographs were taken, or later.
In his recent biography, “Barack Obama: The Story,” David Maraniss noted on page 171, “In the college life of Barack Obama in 1961 and 1962, as recounted by his friends and acquaintances in Honolulu, there was no Ann; there was no baby.”
WND has noted that two newspaper articles published in June 1962 – the month Barack Obama Sr. left the islands to attend classes at Harvard University – make no reference to his wife or his then 10-month-old son, Barack Obama II.
In May 1962, when writing a letter to his political benefactor in Kenya, Tom Mboya, Barack Obama Sr. discussed his “wife” but did not mention Dunham, his supposed Hawaiian bride, or the son he fathered in Hawaii.
Instead, Obama Sr. referred to his first wife, Kezia Aoko, whom he had married in 1954 at age 18 while she was pregnant with their first child. Obama had left Kenya in 1959 to study in Hawaii.
WND has also reported Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. never shared an address as husband and wife.
Moreover, Barack Obama Sr. continued to have multiple girl friends at the University of Hawaii after his son was born. There were so many girl friends that the Kenyan’s Immigration and Naturalization file contains strong evidence that INS officials doubted he was married to Dunham or that the baby was his biological child.
The INS file suggests that if Dunham and the Kenyan had appealed to change his immigration status to receive permanent residence status as an immigrant on track to citizenship, the INS planned to conduct an investigation to make sure the alleged marriage was legitimate.

  1. It's been noted before that the hand of Stanley Dunham is at a weird angle in the park bench photo. However, I just realized that the bench that Madelyn is sitting on is not even with the edge of the bench that Obama is sitting on. Take a piece of paper and try to line them up. Including the ring on his finger, this adds up to three inconsistancies in this photo. Without a doubt, photo shop at play.
