August 25, 2009 marked the end of Obama's filibuster proof Senate.
Thank you Ted Kennedy your dying may be the most patriotic act of your entire drunken liberal life. I'll remember you for this at Christmas. Hey I'll be at Arlington in September, and we may just grant you a pardon on that "grave pissing ceremony", I and the Spirit of George Patton had planned for you.
"Senate Rules as Stipulated by the Constitution" state the Senate must have 60 votes to pass a Bill. In the Senate there is unlimited time to debate a Bill. The Minority party may employ a tool known as The Filibuster , so as to put off the vote, in hopes such gridlock gets a bad Bill tabled by the senate body. In order to end a Filibuster, thereby ending debate, a Motion for Cloture must be passed by 60 votes.
TeddyCare may be wheezed over by the blowhards of the Senate to the point the Senate tables the Bill which means it would be a substantial amount of time before TeddyCare ever sees the light of day again,if at all. The "threats" of passage by Senate Majority Leader Reid via bi-partisan support or single partisan support , is just that- a lame and toothless threat.
What about the "Nuclear Option" we hear so much about,- the simple majority of 51 votes to pass. If the Obama Democrats are so foolish to suspend Senate Rules and the Constitution which call for 60 votes to pass any legislation , they will be signing off on their death warrants.
The "Nuclear Option" has never been used to pass laws. Presidential appointments and budgetary authority has been the use of the Senate Nuclear Option to date in America. Never for legislation, never!
An attempt of using the Nuclear Option by the Democrats would be tantamount to declaring an End to the Constitution. The Contract between our Elected Government and We The People would be Breeched and all bets would then be off. Obama better have the Military to back him, which he DOES NOT and not some collection of Marxists Czars dressed in Brooks Brothers suits and over educated radical college professors. The Republicans only appropriate response to such an affront would be to immediately vacate their seats enmasse . Why would they even feel compelled to stay in such a government? To function as mere rubber stamps to an UnConstitutional Legislature? It would then be for the People to settle the issue, and make no mistake,--- We Would With Pleasure!
Senator Baccus stated Friday 8/28/09 on the Greta Van Sustrand program, if the Democrats use the Nuclear Option for TeddyCare there will be revolt in America. Obama is a paper tiger, he will not fire the first shot so soon. Obama will try other devices, other henchmen, other bodies . The UN seems to be a favorite, then there are the agencies such as the EPA he uses to end run Congress.
Obama still has 3+ years to set America up for the kill. Obama will be the most dangerous the closer we get to his ousting . That will be when he pulls out all stops, and takes his best and most desperate shot at the brass ring of Black National Communism as the government of change he so promised prior to the election.
Say it with me, No He Can't, No He Can't !! Rope and Chains for Obama.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
