Dear WTPHealth Registrants,
Having eclipsed the 100,000 member mark, we have a viable large group coalition in the national health care market. I have spoken with some of my contacts in the health care industry and we believe that the time to launch this plan is now, not later, if we're going to thwart a government-controlled system being voted into law this fall. Therefore, we may be a mere 60-days from an actual nationwide plan offering for you and the millions of American uninsured, underinsured and small businesses that have yet to join us. What will the government say then, "Wait a minute, we were gonna fix that..."?
As is often the case with any large-scale plan, we must improvise and adapt to meet the present set of conditions. Initially, I believed we needed not less than 1-million American registrants by this September 12 to make a successful bid against the government plan. With just two weeks left, we're a far sight from that goal, and to date, the national media has not picked up on this plan. We believe the primary obstacles are as follows:
1. WTPHealth is a functional solution, not a protest movement. Therefore, it can be risky for any public entity or media organization to endorse or publicize something that does not have a pre-existing track record. Ironically, it's almost like we're being discriminated against for the same reasons insurers exclude individuals from being eligible for insurance coverage due to pre-existing condition.
2. Thomas N. Tabback is an author? What is an author doing running a health care initiative? Despite the fact that I did have an 11+ year career in the health insurance industry, I will not ultimately being running this plan. You, the American associations, the groups, the small business, the health care professional volunteers and the individual members who join will run it, by virtue of an elected Board of Trustees. My goal is to be that voice crying out in the wilderness "make straight the way of this country" before it's too late. Once our plan is established, if you will have me, then I will continue to be your spokesperson.
3. How is this different from the government plan? Is WTPHealth a union, an insurer or what? What is a healthcare buying coalition, really? Perhaps the most difficult task as the spokesperson for this plan is to demonstrate just how viable a solution this is in the market today. Don't overcomplicate it. If you buy in bulk, you get a better deal. If We The People combine our health care buying into a large group under the WTPHealth umbrella, we become like the FEHBP (Federal Employee Health Benefit Plan) and can leverage our vast membership for the same kind of rates a Fortune 500 company gets. There will be multiple plan options at better rates than you could achieve unless you worked for a very large business or became a Congressman. The main difference from the government plan is that this will be a Free Market plan coordinated by a private enterprise, thus not abused, misused and misappropriated by government bureaucrats.
4. The squeaky wheel gets the oil... Moveon.org and various leftist organizations have been successful in their endeavors, because they don’t have a day job! Destroying our country is their full-time job. If we’re going to counter their bid to have the federal government takeover every aspect of our lives, we must make our resistance at least a part-time movement. You see this in the various town hall protests across the country. Those protests are important, but they will not ultimately succeed in swaying Congress to dump their bill. Why? Because government is run by a caucus that does not believe We The People are their constituency. Watch for Democrats to forestall Medicare funding changes to appease our senior population, re-tool their "Public Option" into a harmless sounding "Co-op" and assert no tax hikes (initially) for those making less than $250k per year. Soon Congress will be back in session in the safety of their mahogany offices on Capitol Hill and We The People will become mute in their ears. They shall only hear the voice and reason of political operatives urging for passage of their health care takeover plan.
Ladies and Gentlemen, if we're going to succeed in proving that We The People can affect positive social changes through Free Market enterprises, and demonstrate to government that "We The People Don't Need Their Plan And DON'T WANT IT!" we must fight for the future our children deserve. I realize most all of you are busy with your daily endeavors; work, family, school, chores, errands, etc., but I humbly ask for your active and urgent support in the following:
1. Call your local radio program and force your way on the air with "The Free Market Solution To Healthcare." Call in every day until they let you on. Tell them why you joined and how you're looking forward to enrolling in the forthcoming WTPHealth plan. Tell them they must reach out to us and get our leadership on the air to describe a truly American approach to solving the health care crisis. If all of you hit the phones tomorrow, and every day theirafter, then we will have our plan on every news station in the country by end of next week. Be the squeaky wheel!
2. Seek out every small business you know or regularly engage with in commerce and expose them to our plan. Print out our WTPHealth Brochure at https://wethepeoplehealth.com/content/resources_education.html and STRONGLY URGE the manager, supervisor and owner to go to our site and register their group for their chance at a health plan to which only massive corporations or the federal government are presently privy. We don't want our small businesses in this country falling under the complete control of the government, which is what this government takeover of health care will lead to. The coffee shop, the dry cleaners, the local restaurant, the golf shop, the contractor, the builder, the consultant, the realtor, and every other American small business entrepreneur wants our plan, they just don't know about it. Make sure they do!
3. Follow up with everyone you have shared our solution with and make sure they have registered. If they have reservations, talk with them. Find out what is holding them back. Is it pessimism, cynicism, or wariness about joining anything on the web? Help them understand what we're all about and that the only financial commitment they will make is when they decide to join one of the plans we incite the health care industry to offer, which will be at their sole discretion. We can turn this country around, one We The People project at a time. Health care is our proving grounds. If we can fix the so-called "national health care crisis" then we can do anything. If those you speak with don't like their present health coverage due to cost or coverage options, or don't have any coverage at all, then WTPHealth is what they have been waiting for.
4. If you're attending any event, protest or town hall, print off our fliers, pass them out and shout out our "We The People Free Market Solution to Health Care." Challenge your representatives, senators, any event host and any media present to give this plan equal consideration to the government plan. Our solution is real, it doesn't require adding a single dime to the national debt, it requires no new taxes, and our health care freedom and privacy remains right where it belongs--with We The People!
You may not have selected the volunteer box when you registered, but I'm calling upon you all to take part in this important solution. This is not a profit venture. I will never accept a dime from this endeavor. This is a bid for a future where our Constitution and the American Dream still hold meaning for our children, and I have four who desperately need that chance.
This is OUR COUNTRY! Do not go quietly into the night. Do not let those who wish to rule over We The People beat us into submission. Do not think that tomorrow is a better day to start fighting, when Almighty God has given us today! We The People Health is not some author's endeavor. It is a We The People Revolt against the abuse, misuse and misappropriation of powers taken by our government monarchy. Let us not follow them into the valley of the shadow, where they may pick us apart like wolves descending upon a flock of shepherdless sheep. Let us blaze a trail to the light that the whole country and even the world may follow. Our country needs us now more than ever before in its history. I tell you with absolute certainty that no threat of Naziism, Communism and Islamic Fascism has threatened our shores so significantly as this. If we fail, it will be from within. Let us not forget who we are, because we are Americans, children of rebel fighters for a dream of liberty and prosperity in One Nation Under God. Let us reclaim our right to that future. Let us begin the real fight, here and now.
God Bless you all, and may His wisdom guide each of us in our actions and fortify our courage for the fight ahead...
