What's The Point ???

We Conservatives already know the answer, so does the Left. This is for the centrists/undecideds.

If the supposed purpose of ObamaCare was to provide a public health insurance option for the several million uninsured, now that the public option has been withdrawn, what are they doing in the Senate?

If, as the left wants the brain dead to believe, they have no further interest in taking over our Capitalistic economy, why are we still hashing out this health bill? Without a public option, why do we need a trillion dollar add on to the private insurance industry? What is the Federal Government going to do, to make our Medical system better, other than increasing the number of government worker overseers wqho will do nothing but issue insane regulatory demands. Why would there need to be a jail penalty, or fine? Nothing about this Bill makes any sense, if the public option is dead.

It is too obvious, the plan is to place such an onerous burden on private insurance, so as to cause premiums to skyrocket whereby only the rich will be able to afford medical insurance.Of course the poor will still be able to receive free medical care. Collapse the system, classic Cloward and Piven.

If the Senate Democrats in the Congress were still loyal to America,after dropping the Public Option, they would be introducing Tort Reform, Interstate Competition, Malpractice Insurance Limits, and Defensive Medicine protections. None of this would cost the American taxpayer a Trillion, rather it would save us a Trillion.

Those who would support such a government are Traitors of the first order.
