Majority Would Vote Against Obama
A year into his tenure, a majority of Americans would already vote against Pres. Obama if the '12 elections were held today, according to a new survey.
The Allstate/National Journal Heartland Monitor poll shows 50% say they would probably or definitely vote for someone else. Fully 37% say they would definitely cast a ballot against Obama. Meanwhile, just 39% would vote to re-elect the pres. to a 2nd term, and only 23% say they definitely would do so.
Obama's first year in office has been marked by an unemployment rate that surged to 10%, an increased commitment of troops to Afghanistan and a health care battle that has taken a serious political toll on the WH.
Obama's approval rating is down to 47%, the poll showed, a 14-point drop since the April survey. 45% disapprove, up 17 points from April. Only 41% say they trust Obama more than Congressional GOPers, while 33% pick the GOP over the WH. That 8-point gap is down from a 21-point edge Obama sported as recently as Sept.
Just 34% say the country is moving in the right direction, down 13 points since April, and 55% say it is off on the wrong track, up 13 points over the same period.
But as GOPers focus on taxes and spending, that message seems to be causing Obama the most harm. Among those who believe Obama's policies have moved the country in the wrong direction, 45% cite spending and government regulation as a top cause for their opposition.
Meanwhile, those who think Obama's policies are moving the country down the right track largely cite long-term benefits of his initiatives.
In the meantime, health care legislation is by no means popular, but a majority of Americans don't oppose the legislation yet. 44% said they support the legislation under consideration, down 5 points from the last poll in Sept., while 46% oppose it.
The poll, conducted by Financial Dynamics, surveyed 1,200 adults between Jan. 3-7 for a margin of error of +/- 2.8%.

I love how people who have no clue as to what he is doing say things like, "I still think race plays into this." Now if those people are looking for race based thoughts, turn to people like Harry Reid and Bill Clinton, but those people are either unaware of what was said or have rationalized it away.
It is refreshing to see the American citizens 'finally' realize what a nightmare of a President and congressional leadership that is in place. These people are turning what was once an idea of a private sector nation and economy to one where everyone is on the government Dole, the govt. regulates every aspect of our lives, and they have sold out to internationalists.
The first step is to oust the congress in 2010, and put anyone or anything in the White House in 2012 that actually cares about the founding principles of this country.

People voted against George Bush in the last election, not for barack Obama. His lack of experience and far, far, far left leaning policies are not what the American people hoped for. His shuck and jive bs didn't work in Chicago, and certainly won't work in DC where the microscope lens magnifies hes every blunder. One and done for this president, I just hope the GOP can run a stronger candidate than McCain/Palin ( no offense ) this time.

President Reagan successfully led the country through the last battle in the cold war, renewed our national purpose, and provided leadership to a nation in dire need of it.
This nation has spent $1.8 Trillion dollars more than it has taken in in tax receipts, it has $12 Trillion on its national credit card, and has completely consumed all funds held in our entitlement programs. The only way that Medicare, Medicaid, or even Social Security gets paid is via a printing press buttressed by the willingness of foreign governments to underwrite it. That is what the “full faith and credit” of the United States has come to, a promise to pay interest on an obligation to a foreign government. If we are not able to meet the obligations we presently have; why do we seek to create more of them via a nationalization of our health care system? In short: Uncle Sam is broke, the US economy is shrinking, and the President of the United States wants the federal government to run 1/6 of the US economy that health care represents; and the government is unable to run a monopoly, the US Post Office, at a profit.
As President Reagan warned in his speech in 1961, on the dangers of socialized medicine; the American people would not accept socialism outright, but under the banner of liberalism we would accept every facet of socialism. For the past sixty years the entitlement programs that started as humanitarian safety nets, under Democratic majorities, have since grown into retirement programs to the exclusion of private investment, and the most fraud ridden delivery of health care any nation has ever witnessed. Remember where we are presently situated fiscally, how long will it be until those promises are worthless? As you and I can only live beyond our means for a limited time, so too with governments, one way or the other the printing press will be stopped. When we fail to meet these obligations the liberal democrats will aim for the rich, and when they miss, it will be our wallets that they hit.
America pulled a Spain - we elected someone we thought others would like and are now are paying the price. Our next president will (hopefully) love America and cherish its history. Carter brought us Reagan, let's see who Obuma brings

The media suckered a lot of people. The only experience Obama really had was his left wing ideology. He grew up in Asia and Hawaii was mentored by communists, studied marxism, and lent support to a community organization that grew into a large voter fraud operation working against the principles of our Republic.
He's been insistent on pushing his government takeover at most every turn and has a problem connecting with Americans on real issues and national security.
Other than that, he's a pretty cool guy. He just doesn't like America or Americans. Why would he? He never even set foot on the mainland before he was an adult. He identifies with muslims and feels most comfortable around leftists of various sorts including his mentor in Hawaii who was a hardcore marxists pedophile.
This is not his fault. This is his choice as a free citizen. But voters were free not to buy the hype and they did.
Obama is a failure in every respect. At the very minimum his duty is to protect the Constitution and keep us safe. Since his administrations handling of the undie bomber was so utterly inept, please tell me why he can manage our health care???
An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
Pass healthcare and cap and tax and it will be a landslide against Ocommybammie.
