Time To Widen The Net
Are any of you really impressed with the so called likely candidates for the Presidency?
Here's a thought, Obama has broken through the Natural Born citizen barrier, so why don't we widen the net. McCain was such a weakling, nobody really wanted him to begin with and those who did vote for him was more a lesser of two evils kind of deal.
Why don't we draft Merkel or Netanyahu. What's that S. Korean's name, he's got their economy humming. Anyone feeling like Chinese? Before anyone suggests it, NO not Hugo or Raoul.
Nobody much cares, that single allegiance thing is an old and outdated concept given todays global shrinkage. The founders couldn't have possibly envisioned the hotness of our modern world. Such Fuddie Duddies.
You get me a good Brazilian to follow, there's got to be an ugly Americano hanging somewhere in the family tree. If there isn't, hell we can just make one up, or seal some records, nobody cares anyway.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
