Caller mentions Obama's birth certificate on Mark Levin's show, and Mark doesn't want to talk about it. PATHETIC!...

  1. Did you notice he says at the end, "...I'm supposed to discuss this day in and day out?" I've listened to Levin every day on my way home from work for over a year and I've heard him talk about the Obama eligibility issue exactly twice, and dismissed it both times. I like the guy, but he's no martyr to the birther cause. He ignores it completely.

Maybe he's talking about his off-air time. I would imagine he gets hassled about it at lunch occasionally.

  2. Mark Levin is first and foremost a Republican, THEN a conservative. He's weak on illegal immigration. He was great as a legal pundit during Clinton's Impeachment hearings but "Democrats bad, Republicans good!" gets kind of old, don't you think?

You gotta understand how these big-name talk show hosts making millions operate. They keep their jobs in the big money like Hannity, Rush and Levin because they don't slam the GOP very often. The REAL conservatives on talk radio--I'm referring to the Independent conservatives like Devvy Kidd, Frosty Wooldridge and myself--we aren't making jack. It's set up that way. In fact, we hosts have to PAY for our airtime! That's true for Terry Anderson and other Independent conservative talk show hosts. So, it may very well be that Mark Levin is "more conservative" off the air on his own time. I don't know him and wouldn't know. But he's getting paid very well for what he does and he's not going to rock the boat too much.
