Mark Littrell… STAND UP AMERICA!: The Far Left, Is Sinking Fast And Their Demise Is In Sight
Above all else, it was the utter disregard and arrogance of the far left for the citizens of our nation that defeated Martha Coakley in Massachusetts. The overwhelming Independent vote for Scott Brown and his own internal polling showed that national security issues like civilian trials for al-Qaeda thugs and the president’s perceived soft approach on terrorism in general helped Brown to overcome overwhelming odds to find Senatorial victory.
Obama, of course, suffered a huge loss along with Ms. Coakley. His trip to Massachusetts last Sunday was gutsy, but plainly stated, foolish in hindsight. Voters in a very liberal state overwhelmingly rejected his request to elect another liberal. The president lost face and power and if he can’t see that he has to be blind.
Now, Obamacare is nearing a brief note in history, cap and trade is dead, tax increases are not going to happen, and liberal policies across the board are far more then suspect. Credit for all of this can be given to the far left, a group led by Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and a number of radical journalists. Scott Brown should send each a these people a message of personal thanks.
As Obama stated on Wednesday, the same voter dissatisfaction that swept him into office gave Scott Brown a Senate seat. But why are voters so disenchanted after only one year of the Obama administration? The short answer is ideology.
With the exception of Afghanistan and firing drones at terrorists, Mr. Obama has governed far to the left. He’s allowing the Democratic Congress to spend a record amount of money, and that may lead our nation into bankruptcy. He is trying to engineer a government takeover of the health care industry. He is allowing heinous terrorists captured overseas full constitutional rights. He is trying to tax corporations and wealthy Americans any way he can. Further, he has attempted to implement programs which will socialize our nation providing additional social programs that the majority of our citizenry does not want and can not afford.
In addition, he entertains über-left guys like George Soros at the White House. He gives radical unions like the SEIU tax breaks, while most other unions don’t get them. He fails to criticize Pelosi and Reid when they hide their health care negotiations from C-SPAN, even though the candidate Obama openly promised such negotiations would be public. This is far left governance at its best.
And do you know what? Independent-minded Americans are not standing for it.
Just look at the polls, where 20% of Americans describe themselves as liberal. So you figure the far left is less than half of that. In addition, radical left-wing media outlets life MSNBC and Air America are failing. Yeah, Al Franken won in Minnesota, but that’s was an anomaly. Today, he could not buy his seat back.
Obama has shown his true form. He is a socialist and has been attempting to ram socialism down the throats of our nation since the day he took office. He lied to get elected and continues to lie to this date. His agenda is clear… globalize, socialize, disarm, rule not govern… He has demonstrated a total disregard for our Constitution and disdain for the citizens of our nation, for whom he has clearly forgotten that he works.
Obama is finished; there is nothing that he can do that will change what he has done.
He has disgraced himself and disgraced our nation.
IT IS TIME FOR AMERICAN TO STAND UP AND DEMAND TO BE HEARD!
An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
