Obama Wants Another $50 Billion

Obama late Saturday slipped out a news item, saying he is seeking an additional $50 billion to bail out states with funding shortfalls for teachers, fire and police.

Monday morning not just one side of the aisle, but both sides, balked at the proposal. Even Commucrat Stenie Hoyer, the House majority whip balked, knowing full well the impact of this lunacy, especially this close to the mid terms. He described the mood in the House for passage of more massive debt, "lacking an appetite". An appetite or the necessary cast iron stomach? How about just calling it a lack of commucrat guts?

Many of these Commucrats are throwing farewell parties. When they greet each other, they say "You still here?" and when they part company, "Nice Knowing You". Obama is no longer in his happy place. In a few months, gone forever will be the friendly faces of congressional sycophants. Already the yes man syndrome is being replaced in the vain hope of a chance at November self survival. The jeers of "You Lie" may not just come from the right side of the House. These dogs are turning on their former master.

Exactly what has been done to fix the problem of State over runs? Have you heard of any contract negotiations with these under funded groups? What concessions have been made to make their retirement plans realistic and in line with local tax base funding? I mean we'd all like to retire as millionaires after 20 years, but let's not be greedy. Governor Christy has it right, if the unions won't give ground, then he will pay the price they demand, but it won't be to as many of them as before. These teachers are going to find expanded class sizes, because the new attitude is we can pay 10 of you $10, but only 1 of you $100. The other 9 are going to have to find a different line of work.

Obama's current plan for $50 Billion of our money makes no mention whether this will fix the problem, me I figure it for a band-aid, one that will need to be replaced once resoiled in the not so distant future.
