Does This Make Sense

Real Clear Politics Poll

Job Approval ..Approve.. Disapprove
Obama ................46.7%......... 47.6%..

Congress............. 21.8%......... 71.2%

Direction of Country Right Direction Wrong Track
RCP Average........................ 30.2%,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 62.3%

Many of these polls aren't worth the paper they are written on. Real Clear Politics has Obama with an almost 47% job approval rating. Congress has a rating of 22%.

The 22% rating I can understand, people in America are blaming the Democrat controlled congress for the US state of affairs, how is it Obama escapes like numbers. afterall it is Obama's policies Pelosi and Reid are rubberstamping through their chambers.

Could part of the explaination be, liberals are down rating congress because of what they see as partisan politics by the Repulicans? If so the partisan majority should shoulder the blame for the gamesmanship. It's they who write 3000 page bills no one reads, or has more than 3 hours to review.

I think the 22% should be Obama's and 47% for Congress based on the Republicans valiant fight to stop the Marxist-In-Chief if I was solely rating them on just that overall issue.

If I was including the issue of ignoring Article II of the Constitution, they would all be in front of a real judge.

  1. "...how is it Obama escapes like numbers..." ***** That's easy to answer: it's because he's black. Why else is his personal approval ratings separated out from his job performance ratings?? Since when were those two categories set up separately for pres ratings in polls?? Since BO has been sitting in the WH, that's when. Do you recall a separate rating for Bush labeled "personal" vs. job performance?? Or Clinton?? No. "We" are so damned intimidated by the threat of being called "racist", that we have to qualify BO's tanked job performance rating by emphasizing how much we "approve" of him personally (read that: how much we love his being black). This is so obvious, because his performance rating is in the low 40s, and the question "is the country going in the right direction" is rated even lower -- in the mid-30s....yet his personal rating remains just under 50% -- no matter what he does!! We know what's going on.
