Now Can We Call Him a Socialist?
At least in 2012 no one can pretend that Obama isn’t a socialist. If his hostility to the economic freedom on which America was built wasn’t obvious before, it sure is now:In a speech delivered at Osawatomie High School in Osawatomie, Kansas, on Tuesday, President Barack Obama argued that while a limited government that preserves free markets “speaks to our rugged individualism” as Americans, such a system “doesn’t work” and “has never worked” and that Americans must look to a more activist government that taxes more, spends more and regulates more if they want to preserve the middle class.
Ironically, the middle class came into being as a direct result of the capitalism Comrade Obama and his supporters are deliberately destroying. There was no middle class under feudalism or in the Soviet Union. There will be none in America if the alliance of welfare parasites in their growing numbers and the liberal elite with its control of the media, academia, and bureaucracy is able to smash it.
Once again the words of Vladimir Lenin have inspired our moonbat masters:
“The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.”What straightforward communists call the bourgeoisie, crypto-communists like Obama call the middle class.
When the hyperinflation made inevitable by Obama’s massive wasteful spending kicks in, we’ll see how well this strategy works.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
