Is our military being refashioned for some other purpose? How is it that an administration that has failed to fire anyone for the Internal Revenue Scandal, Benghazi, and Fast and Furious seems to be suddenly firing upper military brass left and right?
While I am not sanctioning misbehavior on the part of top brass, the high crime of fake poker chips does not seem to rise to the same level letting guns walk across the Mexican border. For these crimes, you can lose your job and spend years in prison.
Firing on the enemy in hostile territory is not ok, but arming drug cartels to fire on American LEOs is ok? Swearing is not ok, but ignoring the pleas for help from an ambassador is ok?

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
