Just A Reminder

After today's event at Fort Hood, Texas it is with a heavy heart, I continue this blog.

Recall the Cap and Trade Bill passed by Congress in June. A Bill authored by Communist Green Jobs Czar Van Jones and his affiliates. Another piece of legislation 800+ pages long, which no one read. The 300 page supplement not provided across the aisle until 3 am the day of the vote.

Speaker Pelosi, Obama's PolitiQueen from Hell, limited the debate to but a few hours, then made the call to vote. Even with all the arm twisting, to the credit of 44 Blue Dog Democrats, they crossed over and voted with the Republicans.

If, if, if, if the Republicans had ALL voted for America, Cap and Trade would now be a dead issue. However there were 8 Judas amongst the Republicans. The Bill carried 225 to 210. Had they voted with the right, it would have been 218 to 217 against Cap and Trade, and the Tax Payers of America could have been breathing easier.

I've learned Delaware Rep. Mike Castle (R) one of the Cap and Traitor 8, is being talked up to run for the Senate in 2010. If the RNC backs this guy, that would be the most outlandish supposition of taxpayer amnesia since Marie Antoinette said to the starving French peasants, "Let them Eat Cake, If They have No Bread".

Write, no telephone the RNC to demand Mike Castle NOT be endorsed or funded for any office. Same goes for the other 7. If the RNC wants credibility, they will drop them from their candidates list.

REPORT: Money Drove 8 Republican Cap And Traitors

Mon, Jun 29, 2009

The eight House Republicans who voted to pass the Cap and Trade legislation, creating the biggest tax in US history, may have been driven to the position by donations from environmental lobbyists according to a report in the Washington Examiner.
Only 8 Republicans voted in favor of the measure, while 44 Democrats went against their party to vote “No.”

If passed in the Senate and signed into law, the measure is expected to erase more than 2,000,000 jobs from the already troubled economy. Projections indicate that Bucks County will lose an average of 2,839 jobs every year between 2012 and 2035.

Rep. [Mark] Kirk of Illinois, for instance, was among the top 20 recipients of PAC donations from environmental groups in the 2008 election cycle. He received $1,000 from the League of Conservation Voters (PAC), $4,000 from Ocean Champions (PAC) and $4,000 from Republicans for Environmental Protection (PAC). In this same cycle Republicans for Environmental Protection also donated $4,000 in PAC funds to Rep. [Dave] Reichert.

The League of Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club have directed support toward the New Jersey Republicans who voted for the new regulations. Rep. [Frank] LoBiondo received $1,020 from the League of Conservation Voters (PAC) in the 2008 election cycle and $2,010 from the Sierra Club (PAC) in the 2006 election cycle.

The 8 Cap and Traitor Republicans are:

Mary Bono-Mack (CA) 202-225-5330
Mike Castle (DE) 202-225-4165
Mark Steven Kirk (IL) 202-225-4835
Leonard Lance (NJ) 202-225-5361
Frank LoBiondo (NJ) 202-225-6572
John M. McHugh (NY) 202-225-4611
Dave Reichert (WA) 202-225-7761
Chris Smith (NJ) 202-225-3765

Representative John McHugh is Barack Obama’s appointee as Secretary of the Army. It remains to be seen what favors and earmarks have been promised to the other 7, in addition to the obvious financial gain for their campaigns from high-powered lobbyists, in exchange for their votes.
