PELOSI-REID-OBAMACARE IS IMMORAL, ILLEGAL AND TOTALLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL...What country are we living in?...

Sen. Reid’s Government-Run Health Plan Requires a Monthly Abortion Fee
Posted by GOP Leader Press Office on November 19th, 2009

Just like the original 2,032-page, government-run health care plan from Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-NV) massive, 2,074-page bill would levy a new “abortion premium” fee on Americans in the government-run plan.

Beginning on line 7, p. 118, section 1303 under “Voluntary Choice of Coverage of Abortion Services” the Health and Human Services Secretary is given the authority to determine when abortion is allowed under the government-run health plan. Leader Reid’s plan also requires that at least one insurance plan offered in the Exchange covers abortions (line 13, p. 120).

What is even more alarming is that a monthly abortion premium will be charged of all enrollees in the government-run health plan. It’s right there beginning on line 11, page 122, section 1303, under “Actuarial Value of Optional Service Coverage.” The premium will be paid into a U.S. Treasury account – and these federal funds will be used to pay for the abortion services.

Section 1303(a)(2)(C) describes the process in which the Health Benefits Commissioner is to assess the monthly premiums that will be used to pay for elective abortions under the government-run health plan and for those who are given an affordability credit to purchase insurance coverage that includes abortion through the Exchange. The Commissioner must charge at a minimum $1 per enrollee per month.

A majority of Americans believe that health care plans should not be mandated to provide elective abortion coverage, and a majority of Americans do not believe government health care plans should include abortion coverage. Currently, federal appropriations bills include language known as the Hyde Amendment that prohibits the use of federal funds to pay for elective abortions under the Medicare and Medicaid programs, while another provision, known as the Smith Amendment, prohibits federal funding of abortion under the federal employees’ health benefits plan.

Leader Reid’s 2,074-page health care monstrosity is an affront to the American people and drastically moves away from current policy. The National Right to Life Committee has called the Reid abortion language “completely unacceptable.” The American people deserve more from their government than being forced to pay for abortion. The pro-life Stupak/Pitts amendment passed the House by a vote of 240 to 194, enjoying the overwhelming support of 176 Republicans and 64 Democrats. The Stupak/Pitts Amendment codifies current law by prohibiting federal funding of elective abortions under any government-run plan or plans available under the Exchange. The Reid plan ignores the will of a bipartisan majority of the House, and indeed the American people, by rejecting this bipartisan amendment.

Health care reform should not be used as an opportunity to use federal funds to pay for elective abortions. Health reform should be an opportunity to protect human life – not end it – and the American people agree. House Republicans have offered a common-sense, responsible solution that would reduce health care costs and expand access while protecting the dignity of all human life. The Republican plan, available at HealthCare.GOP.gov, would codify the Hyde Amendment and prohibit all authorized and appropriated federal funds from being used to pay for abortion. And under the Republican plan, any health plan that includes abortion coverage may not receive federal funds.

Please stand with Sen. Coburn and make the whole bill be read before debate on it! I do not and will not pay for elective abortions. Thank you for standing strong for the Americans that are against the government taking over our health care system!

As a former U.S. Navy veteran and a Roman Catholic, I will NEVER agree to any abortion fee on any health plan. Why do government officials insist on ignoring their constituents?

Thank you for your steadfast support of the pro-life position. It seems this administration is determined to push forward their pro-abortion agenda at the cost of health-care reform. In fact, this seems to be their defining agenda and want to pass abortion funding no matter what the cost. The single-mindedness of the Obama administration on this policy is staggering. Please continue the “good fight”. Know that we are praying for you.

6. Ira Mikell Says:

This requirement goes against the conscience of all Christians who strongly believe that abortion is the same as murder and that such a requirement will put them in the category of being an accessory to the act as well as forcing them to fully sanction the procedure. If this does stay, as well as the threat of imprisonment for violating the health care mandate, you could see many Christians not sign onto the socialized health care.

I used to think these people were insane, but it has become increasingly plain that they are taking away our freedom one step at a time. Legal abortions are disgusting enough without having to be coersed into paying for it. Our religous freedom is almost gone. Everyone I can talk into voting and voting against these socialists may help give them a message. Please continue to keep up the good work. Thanks

14. EDWARD UNTERMAN Says:

I am 100% opposed to abortion and I agree with Rep. Boehner’s position. HOWEVER, we must not allow this one issue to cloud the fact that this entire legislation is a disaster in the making. I feel that the Dems are setting us up to accept the whole horrible package if they bow to our wishes on abortion funding. We must emphasize the long-term damage to our economy and health care system if this legislation is allowed to pass.

The Republican party needs not focus on “abortion.”

There is a much larger issue; focus on the larger issue.

This government run health care and the taxes associated with the bill needs to “go away!”

The fed needs to get out of Americans lives.

The Republican Party needs to make this go away.

Did you know there is 10.2% documented unemployment in the US. Where is the bill to cut taxes and improve the unemployment figures?

What about Conscience Clause? Same things will apply if anyone is required to participate in an abortion they are against.

There is a double-edged sword here that Democrats should pay heed to. The legislation allows the Secretary of HHS to determine when abortion is allowable under the government-run plan, according to the text.

Unless there are other guidelines given to the HHS head in making this determination, under a GOP administration federal funding for abortion could easily be limited to rape, incest and danger to the life of the mother.

Leaving these things wide open in anticipation of getting a political prize you’ve long wanted can ultimately lead to the opposite result when the political tides invariably shift.

22. Jerry Cook Says:

Where do I go to opt out of this portion of the health care bill? I am 100% against abortion (always have been), and I’ll be damned if this “changing” government forces me to contribute to it. Seems like a good time for a stand through civil disobedience. This is an absolute outrage!

When, Obama got elected, and the Dems got a lock on the super majority. The first bill to be passed, should have been one to make it illegal for federal employees to take money from lobbists and their companys. This would fix most true problems over time, but noooooooooooooooooooo. We get the same ole BS, OUT OF THE NEWLY ELECTED REPS.

27. Kris Gavin Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:12 pm

It is unconstitutional and immoral for the Federal Government to make me pay for people to kill their children. This is beyond ridiculous and frightening. This entire bill shows how the Federal Government is usurping power from the states. This is NOT a Federal issue, this is something that is supposed to be left to the states under the US Constitution, which Senator Reid and Congresswoman Pelosi swore to uphold.
I can’t believe this bill has gotten this far. It should have been killed in the Congress as utterly wrong.

28. Dax Says:

If there is publicly funded abortions in this bill, then EVERY CATHOLIC should be opposed. EVERY CATHOLIC should write to their respective legislators and let them know that they are opposed.

31. Lorayne Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:13 pm

And so the games have begun AGAIN!!! Despite overwhelming public rejection of the government involvement in paying for abortions, in ANY sneaky way, Reid and the liberals will continue to push it forward, buried in 2000+ pages of gobbly-gook…He will also resort to the blatant misuse of so-called Opt-Out scams, and even distortions of Senate procedures. Like Obama, how low can he go?? Apparently the sewer isn’t too low for the liberals.

32. PatG Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

I’m beginning to think that, in addition to gaining complete control over every Americans’ life, the “healthcare reform” bills are for the promotion and widespread acceptance of abortion.

May God have mercy on us all!

33. Dr. Caleb Barnett Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

Don’t back down guys. If it gets ugly, it gets ugly. But this has to be stopped. America is losing her freedoms and it is crippling her. Our economy and unemployment rate are showing it, and discontent among American citizens is palpable. This is not a time for bi-partisen combayah. It is a time to fight for Reagan ideals of personal liberty and smaller govenment. A time to stand strong for what our founders bled for. Despite Obama’s sentiments (2001) they were not “oppressive” by only saying what the government could not do to us. That is the very thing that has made us the greatest nation in the history of the world. Fight for us, and I promise you that I and my family and collegues will fight to support you.

PS: Bring up the discrepency between the original medicare cost estimates and the actual costs. Also the fact that they are fudging the numbers by taxing us and cutting medicare for 10 years and only providing coverage for 6 years. Then telling us some BS number for a 10 year estimate. Make sure that the American people KNOW BOTH of those facts.

34. Carolyn Ford Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:14 pm

An abortion monthly fee is absolutely unacceptable. How dare the government mandate that I, who am opposed to abortion, a fee to promote the murdering of children!
This is objectionable, reprehensible, and strikes of dictatorship. What’s the next step? Being forced to jail or a fine, if one refuses to pay?

35. Tim Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:15 pm

This is an illegal collection of monies by the federal government!
They are only allowed to collect money in the form of taxes, per the United States Constitution.
They are not allowed to set this money into a “fund” to be used for abortion coverage, or any health care coverage for that matter.
In the 1937 “Helvering v. Davis” case in front of the Supreme Court, FDR’s team had to argue that Social Security was not a fund with money set aside, as FDR proclaimed it to be to the people. They had to argue that is was nothing more than a tax on the people to be used in the general fund. That was the ONLY way it would be constitutional.
This will be no different.
It’s just a power grab and a tax increase.

JUST SAY NO!!!

It is a shame they don’t listen to the people of this country, the majority has clearly spoken, they don’t want this fiasco, but the dems are like little spoiled brats, either they get their way or they promise you will be sorry if they dont.

Rep. Boehner,

Amen to your blog. As a teacher, I can’t imagine what is in store for us if the Government is now going to pay for murders to take place. If they do this, then they might as well pay for all elective surgeries. Why don’t we pay for something more important like cancer treatments or dialysis treatments. The Almightly God will have no choice but to take His blessings from the USA and allow more terrible things to happen. It’s movements like this that make me want to move to another country. Isn’t that sad. How can we be proud of the USA and have a government that runs things like this? If the Feds can’t keep the mail out of the red, why do they think that they can run a Nation-Wide Healthcare program. In closing, Rep. Boehner, does Congress know that Obama wants to tax YOU! I can’t believe that congressmen will voluntarily accept the brunt of the taxes. Why hasn’t anyone said anything about that? Everyone in Congress makes over $250,000.00 per year. That doesn’t make sense and I can’t believe that Democrats can’t see that. May God bless you in your efforts to get this country back under GOD FEARING CONSERVATIVE, Not Republican, control. Thanks for standing up.

44. Peter Bina Says:

I’m perfectly willing to help pregnant women as well, and have in the past supported organizations that help women through their unwanted pregnancies until they give birth and another family adopts the child. But I will not be assessed an ABORTION fee each month. It’s unconstitutional and I’ll try to sue the federal government before I go along with this insanity. Harry Reid is way out of line - and hopefully soon out of a job.

I am the grandfather of an 8 year old beautiful child. At birth, she weighed 17 oz. Today she is perfectly healthy. This child would qualify under some pro choice schemes as a late term abortion (26 weeks). That is my definition of murder. What’s your?

Abortion is just wrong! I will not be forced into paying for government funded abortions. Congressmen/women and senators who vote for these bills deserve to rot in Hell. Is that plain enough?

54. Donna Luciano Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:24 pm

I have not been an advocate of the healthcare reform proposals so far because of the overwhelming financial burden that will be imposed on tax paying American citizens. This abortion coverage twist just makes it that much more unpalatable. And the insidious way that the language is inserted in a 2000+ page bill is an egregious to not only the will, but the intelligence of American citizens.

Please reject this proposal and let us get back to the federal government doing the will of the people.

Thank you.

First, I REFUSE to pay for anybody to have an abortion.
BUT…I though because of Roe V Wade, women in this country have the right to have an abortion if they
want to have one, without having to consult the father or anybody else.

So, why, under this bill does the Sec. of HHS have to “determine when an abortion is allowed under the government run health care plan”?????

Doesn’t this sound like they are taking AWAY the woman's right to choose???!!!!

I am so very disgusted with Democratic members of Congress forcing this health care issue upon the American taxpayers. It is equally depressing to realize that the average American citizen really cannot do much of anything to stop this impending travesty. Just how has the leadership of our great country become so corrupted and indifferent to the desires of the majority of the electorate. What has happened to the USA that I grew up in?

What country is this? I no longer recognize my homeland. When did our ELECTED representatives decide they have the right to act AGAINST the wishes of the majority? Don’t you get it Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid? We do not approve of our tax dollars funding abortion! I am past angry. I am enraged by our Senate and Congress. Enraged. Then when I read this morning that the premiums for the Public Option in the Reid bill will actually be higher than those in the Private Sector, well, that was the last straw for me. If we, the hard working majority, are being compelled to cover health care for those who can’t/won’t cover themselves, then at the very least it should not cost more than what we buy for ourselves. And the whole reason for this Public Option Farce was to LOWER the escalating premiums we are paying now. Not RAISE them. This is outrageous……words escape me. And this crap about loading the taxes into the first half of the decade and the spending into the second half to SKEW the costs is CRIMINAL. My dismay has been growing for about a year and it has finally erupted into full blown anger. I am livid.

I stand with you in defense of the santity of life. I will refuse to pay for any fee or fine for a bill that will ultimately be use to promote a culture of death. I would go to jail first.

Given that thousands of abortions are currently performed annually. Who is paying for them NOW? Is anyone checking with the insurance their employers provide to see if it pays? If they do will the opt out?
Do we care about all abortions or just govt funded ones?

76. Doc Kirchner Says:

If a women wants an abortion, she should pay for it. No one should be forced/mandated to pay for other people’s choices.

77. Bobby Long Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:32 pm

Rep. Boehner,

First I want to state that under the Constitution Article 1, Section 8, the Federal government has no delegated power to pass laws concerning government run health care, period. No excuse to try the ‘General Welfare’ or ‘Necessary and Proper’ phrases either as their meaning have been well documented in several sources (Federalist Papers, Convention debates, etc) This is a direct usurpation (if that’s a word) of power limited by our founding document. From your public comment, I do not believe that you subscribe to this violation of the Constitution, but I feel compelled to state my position in this matter.

Further, there is a power delegated to the Federal government that I am in favor of using. The power to ‘promote’ open trade between the states. I would like to see competition opened up for Insurance companies. That would bring down health care costs!

I am also in favor of health care reform. Simply, remand it to the individual states.

I will NOT pay taxes that fund abortion, no matter the consequence, as it is in direct violation my moral beliefs, which I value more than convenience.

Respectfully,
Bobby Long

78. Beez Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:34 pm

As a Roman Catholic I cannot allow myself to be compelled to pay such a tax. The Vatican has been very clear on this issue. The Vatican position is that persons who in any way assist in providing an abortion for someone must immediately excommunicate themselves from the Church. Paying this tax would qualify as such assistance. Now what?

79. Aaron Wadley Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:34 pm

Abortion is not euthanasia, euthanasia is generally pain minimal, but abortion is the deliberate bludgeoning of a human being until he is physically destroyed.

Oh yeah… Surprise! You already pay for abortions they just hide it well by paying for the building, the power, the machine used, and maybe even the doctor. As long as the actual procedure is not funded it is legal. You and I are Planned Parenthood’s biggest contributors.

May G-d have mercy on America as we willingly allow the government to bugden us into destruction.

80. Mark Streher Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:34 pm

Sen. Reid pretends to be against abortion, but apparently he doesn’t mean it. This provision is an abomination (like the rest of the health care takeover only more so). Reid must be defeated in 2010!

81. Dan Palmer Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:34 pm

There are three categories of people who are in such numbers that the freedom-usurping political class get away with such abominations.

They are the Constitutionally ignorant (wilfill and institutional), the apathetic, and those collude in order to receive some money or benefit from government.

The purpose of government is to protect life, liberty, and property. With the host of horrible things this poor excuse for a Congress is passing, life, liberty, and property are all endangered.

What recourse do we, taxpaying citizens, have when all three branches of government are acting unconstitutionally together? The checks and balances are moot! James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, and John C. Calhoun had it right with the concept of nullification.

82. sara Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:34 pm

I would never personally choose abortion. Ever. However, those who favor it don’t want those children anyway and better for them not to be born than to be born into a bad situation. Those who have half a heart will give them up for adoption. They’ll answer eventually for their choices.

83. Janice Flowers Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:35 pm

I too will go to jail before giving the government one red cent toward federally funded abortions. I am more afraid of God than of liberals.

Dems may try, but they will NEVER force this down our throats. Pass it and see! There is not enough room in the jails for all of us who will refuse to comply.

84. doc kirchner Says:

Reid is going to go to hell for this one. His Mormon faith allows Abortion in extreme cases but not elective birth control. It is going to be interesting how he justifies this stand when he goes to church on Sunday.

But I too will not pay for any of this. I will take to the streets in protest and storm offices before I will subject my self to this servitude. HELL NO I WON”T PAY IT.

88. C. David Parsons Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:36 pm

Harry Reid’s abortion premium” fee has an overriding evil objective. He wants to force those of us who abhor murdering of the innocents to pay for the killing and, thus, be a party to it. Fortunately, there is still a religious clause in the constitution; we do not have to be party to any devilish scheme which goes against our convictions. QuestForRight.com

It is not surprising that these people did this. What is surprising is that they put it in the bill with such clear language. This is a direct challenge to all of us.

Please wake up America. These people are serious!

90. Eric H. Steen Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:37 pm

This is an absolute disgrace! Republicans and Independents need to fight this bill to the end.

91. Richard Samsal Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:37 pm

If a single Republican votes for this monstrosity, I shall leave the party forever. There is absolutely nothing in the Constitution that demands this type of legislation and directly violates my 1st Amendment right by establishing a law that prohibits the free exercise of that religion by forcing me to pay for something expressly against my beliefs. This entire health care reform bill does not reform anything, it is simply a vehicle to allow government to control even more intrusively into our lives. This goes too far. The citizens of this country are overwhelming against this and will rise up to protect their freedom.

92. cubanbob Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:38 pm

Congressman Boehner,

If the Republicans are really serious then they need to make crystal clear that not only will they vote against this monstrosity in it’s entirety but should they regain Congress in the next election that they will repeal it in it’d entirety. As well as cap and trade, card check and the rest. Indeed if Republican’s really are serious then it’s time to start pushing to defund and undo the excesses of the Democrat’s from FDR forward. A few examples would be The Davis-Bacon Act and to withhold federal from state and local governments with similar contracting requirements, McCain Feingold and the entire federal campaign financing edifice, ban civil service employee unions, enough of the shakedown of the taxpayers, a national right to work act, double dipping federal pensions and witholding federal funds or denying the tax deductibility of state and local taxes who do not ban civil service employee unions and double dipping pensions and that Congress make itself unable to remove itself from being held to laws everyone one else must obey. That would be a good start.

93. Linda Karpiscak Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:38 pm

So, if EVERYONE is required to pay the monthly fee for the health care plan, how is that different? You are actually paying taxes specifically towards abortion services. Not some vague language, either. Those of us who cannot support abortion on religious and philosophical grounds—-it becomes a matter of conscience. To me, (and many others like myself), paying for these abortions would be as bad as doing the act. 1st trimester abortion actually rips the baby apart, limb by limb. We need to fight these evil people through our votes.

94. Mary Jane Jordan Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:38 pm

I oppose the entire health care plan. There will still be 30M without insurance. That’s the number we were trying to correct. Hmmmm, sounds like it’s nothing more than the Government trying to control another aspect of our lives. Leave us alone!

95. Jude Says:

I with the previous comment Throw me in jail, I’m not going to be a partt to killing babies and I’ll be damned if I vote for anyone who votes for this health care no matter what freaking excuse they give. 96. Dennis Doolittle Says:

The clause that requires us to pay for abortions may be a bargaining chip or throw-away in the Negotiations. As heinous as abortion is, lets not lose sight of the fact that the entire idea of government-run health care is flawed.

Even the Nov. issue of AARPbullitin has a couple of articles about Medicare fraud and waste. And they want us to believe that Obamacare would be any better(?)

The liberals are a tricky bunch, lets not be taken in!

98. Wendy Loreti Says:

This is NOT the way to fight this health care bill. This is a trivial issue compared with the concept of completely taking away ours and our doctors’ freedoms. The government has no business being involved in the private sector, period. If you fight on the principle of freedom, the rest will follow. You won’t have to pay for abortions if you don’t want to. You don’t have to have coverage for them if you don’t want to.

Please stick to the principles because you will lose if you focus only on a provision here or there.

99. John Smith Says:

You all hypocrites. The majority of Americans support a womens right to choose what to do with her body. Get out of the dark ages. If I had my way, I would choose not to pay taxes to fund a war that kills thousands of people who had no plans to harm us. On that note, I don't believe we need paved roads. I choose not to pay taxes to pave roads. Grow up all of you.

100. Alena Says:

105. Helix Con Says:

108. Just Another American Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:41 pm

It’s astounding that Republicans are allowing themselves to be hoodwinked by the abortion issue. Pelosi came up with this at the last minute to give air cover to Democrats from shaky districts, knowing full well she would give it up at the last minute to let them save face with their constituents, back home. Now, the Senate Democrats are pulling the same sleight of hand, and Republicans are biting. Again.

Look, what’s objectionable about this bill is that it is a socialist takeover of a large chunk of our economy that benefits no one but the unions. Don’t give them an out, because they will drop the abortion clause at the last minute, just like they did in the House.

p.s. Once Democrats have an unshakable grip on healthcare, and an entrenched union constituency there, they will just add it back in, down the road. Stand on principle, now, or get rolled, later.

Those that do will regret the day they did as they will be signing careering ending pink slips.

Those in the Senate and Congress who feel they have no obligation to listen to the American voters are in for a big big surprise.

Elected officials are not the only wone who rad the polls and we voters are more informed than we have ever been and more determined to insure that you do what we ask.

112. S. Hamilton Says:

You invoke the right to “abortion” into the Health Plan and then have the nerve to charge everyone for it, even though they maybe opposed to it in the first place. Have you elected officials received your mandatory “Frontal Lobotomy” letter yet? What’s next? Legalize illegal alienship?

113. JP Chen Says:
November 19th, 2009 at 12:43 pm

Don’t be fooled, that don’t expect to get this in their plan, it’s all a trick to get the media talking about it and people upset, then they will concede this at the last moment to get votes for the whole package…the house did the same…

114. mike rausch Says:

America wake up. They are taking our freedoms away 1 at a time. The Democrats do not care about anything except their own agenda. They completely ignore rulings that were passed before, they rarely tell the truth about anything or at best half truths. Our country is perishing right before our eyes and if we do not wake up and vote it will be gone before we know it. We will be completely a socialist country with no freedoms. Maybe we have to hit bottom before we get off our lazy butts and take care of business.

115. Linda Karpiscak Says:

This is in response to Mary Ann Shelton comment. I appreciate the sentiment, but the term EUTHANASIA literally means “good death”. Nothing about these abortions. First trimester abortions rip the baby apart. Partial birth abortions remove most of the baby breech, then use scissors to make a hole in th back of the baby’s skulls and then suctions the baby’s brains our. There are a number of barbaric procedures, but none could be called euthanasia.

119. Nick DeCarlo Says:

Here is the easy solution to improve the health care system that won’t lead to a government take-over:

1. Impose improved disclosure obligations on insurance companies so consumers can tell exactly what is covered by their plan and what is not covered by their plan before they select a plan, and

2. Set up an independent dispute resolution panel where a consumer can go for relief when their insurance company decides not to pay for something that should be covered by the plan.

The above would solve 99.9% of the complaints that most people have with their current health insurance.

120. Lou Skojec Says:

Not just wrong, but evil. It is time for America to stand up and declare who she is, a nation that is under God or under godless, relativistic humanism. It’s now or never, because the time is short and there likely will be no going back.

To the Republican leaders, I say that you must lead. This is not a time for compromise. This is not a time for party over principle, or party over nation. This is a critical time for putting first things first, political costs be damned. Do the right thing, and you will find that you will be rewarded at the ballot box. Equivocate, and this party will be swallowed by history.

There is no honesty or integrity in any of the plans before the Senate. I guess the Democrats are trying to wear everyone out with this insanity. None of it is about making premiums affordable for those who have no insurance, but simply about power mad politicians pushing the envelope to the nth degree. Control and fleecing the public is all Harry Ried, Nancy Pelosi and the usual cast of suspects care about, that and downsizing the entire Country….making it a third world entity. Amnesty for law breaking illegal aliens, tax payer payments for abortions, rationing, forcing people to buy insurance, threatening them with punishment if they don’t…all of that is as Un-American as Gulags and the hammer and sickle.
