Undivided Allegiance
John Jay the first Chief Justice advised George Washington, the Constitution must contain a provision for the President and Commander-in Chief of this country be held by a person without allegiance to any other nation. Undivided Allegiance.
The clause in the Constitution- Article II section 1 so stipulates this, by requiring the POTUS be a Natural Born Citizen. (Not a 14th amendment "naturalized" citizen.) A Natural Born citizen knows only this land as his native soil, and the people who live on that soil, as his people.
My Country Tis of thee, sweet land of Liberty, of thee I sing.
Where for lay thine loyalties, Citizen of the World Obama?
Obama is the classic example, of what John Jay was warning George Washington about 233 years ago.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
