We must raise the debt ceiling so we can borrow some more money; otherwise we won’t be able to meet our obligations and will go into default.
This is the latest load of sheep dip coming out of Washington D.C., you know, “the Snake Pit on the Potomac.”
Speaker of the House John Boehner was quoted as saying: “Congress must approve taking on more debt, which currently is growing by more than $4 billion per day. If it doesn’t approve raising the ceiling, then the U.S. will default on its loans and lose its standing as the globe’s most reliable bet.”
The United States DOES NOT lack the money to pay its current debts, the problem is we lack the funds to pay our current debts AND spend all the money our elected elites want to spend on all their pork, waste, and various other projects they have swimming around in their pointed little heads.
I seem to remember you people saying something before the election about eliminating earmarks, well let’s see some of that fiscal responsibility you all were going on and on about.
“Dear me Chauncey, have we been hosed yet again by these elected ruffians?”
Lately, “We the People” have sort of gotten into the habit of remembering who voted, and for what, and that “TWO YEAR CLOCK” is ticking: Keep your promises, get the picture boys?
The denizens of the aforementioned “Snake Pit on the Potomac,” have an addiction for spending OUR money, money to them (as long as it isn’t their money) is the same as Heroin to a junkie.
I am not naive enough to believe that these addicts (make no mistake that is what they are) would ever inflict term limits on themselves, so the only way to take away their steady fix is every time an election comes up, IF “IT” IS AN INCUMBENT VOTE “IT” OUT OF OFFICE.
I used the term IT to purposely show how little respect or regard I have for these snakes who worship at the altar of outright theft (of our money) and broken promises.
Have you ever noticed, that after an election is over and they are safely ensconced in their office for yet another term, that if a citizen dares to ask about a promise made and broken, their friends in the lame stream media cover for them by saying “oh that was just a campaign promise and everybody knows that doesn’t mean anything.”
Wrong answer, words have meaning and value, and if you don’t intend to keep your word Mr. Politician, keep your forked tongue in your mouth and remain silent.
The largest problem with borrowing money is that sooner or later you have to pay it back and there is a price tag on it called VIGORISH (that is Yiddish for interest)!
In other words you have to dance with the one what brung ya.
WAKE UP AMERICA!!!
