WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT?...FROM ONE RINO TO ANOTHER...TRAITORS BOTH...
Arizona Republican Gov. Jan Brewer’s decision to veto a bill requiring all candidates running for office in Arizona to provide a copy of their birth certificate alienated some conservatives, who want to see President Barack Obama’s certificate. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., isn’t one of them, The Hill reports.
“Proud of @GovBrewer for her veto of the ‘birther bill’ -- it was the right decision,” he wrote on Twitter.
Suspicions about the place of Obama’s birth inspired the Arizona bill. In 2008, McCain's presidential campaign looked into "birther" claims against Obama and found them to be baseless. [EXCUSE ME?] Last year McCain ran a campaign ad against his primary opponent J.D. Hayworth, connecting him to top figures in the "birther" movement.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
