Obama campaign now selling birther merchandise
The Obama 2012 campaign is now giving away Birther merchandise -- t-shirts and mugs -- to donors who give over a certain amount ($15 or more for a mug, $25 0r more for a t-shirt).
The Nation reports on an email from Julianna Smoot, Obama's deputy campaign manager, who commented on the swag:
"There's really no way to make this stuff completely go away," Smoot notes, referring to a new conspiracy book called, Where's the Birth Certificate?. " The only thing we can do is laugh at it," she suggests, "and make sure as many other people as possible are in on the joke."And as the donations pour in, Obama really will have the last laugh on the Birther issue.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
Barf Certificate hermetically sealed...
ReplyDeleteConsidering the “document” is about 50 years old,
There is not even one sign of any aging of any kind,
It must have been sealed in a time capsule in Tibet,
It is as genuine as any three dollar bill.
