What a Fool Believes

Jim Emerson,FloydReports.com

Ambassador Susan Rice in a press release hoped,“We have the prospect for a free and inclusive Libya,in which the aspirations of the Libyan people can finally be realized in the wake of the transition that’s underway. We’re very concerned that,as we move forward, that the authorities make maximum effort to swiftly form an inclusive government that incorporates all aspects of Libyan society, and in which the rights of all Libyan people are fully and thoroughly respected.” Soon after the killing of Moammar Gadhafi the Libyan transitional council stated that Shari’a law would be the basic source of legislation. So much for the ambassador’s fantasy. What is wrong with a little oppression in the name of Allah?
Rebellions often end in deadly fashion. The rebels once touted by the administration as freedom fighters, who had the backing of U.S. and NATO forces, have shown their ugly side. Mass graves of victims killed by the rebels have been discovered and they have gathered up and executed blacks in Libya. The current regime will give lip service to the UN about punishing any rebel war criminals, but under Shari’a law, nothing will happen.
The latest news feeds are reporting that rebel forces are turning on each other similar to a turf war between rival street gangs.
On October 18,Secretary of State Hillary Clinton went to Tripoli, promising money and support to the rebel forces. She pledged on behalf of the Obama administration to support the National Transitional Council in its efforts to gain control over the war torn country and plan fair elections. That is the administration’s hope but reality will prove it wrong.
The Muslim Brotherhood will use elections as a charade to legitimize their power to the outside world. The Libyan transitional council pretty much told the world it will form an Islamic state. Did this fool think otherwise?
This administration choose to ignore the involvement of elements of al-Qaeda in the rebellion. Even the intelligence community disputed that….
