The Fight Begins From This Point

First let me begin by saying we need to thank and recognize the valiant effort many Republican law makers have put forth with their masterful but short handed efforts to thwart the Democrats.

We should call these reps to thank them, and to encourage them to continue the fight on our behalves. We need to let them know we support them.

It goes without saying if we could somehow convince them to question Obama's lawful status we would not be in this predicament. The closer to the precipice Obama drives the nation, the more receptive they should become, it is only logical.

-----------

We are all extremely outraged and disappointed by the actions of the Democrats yesterday. The stunned disbelief will soon wear off, and we need to regather ourselves quickly.

Is it the end of the fight? I think not, rather it is just the beginning to a new and escalated level. We know what November will bring at the ballot box,it goes without saying an attempt to rig the election will touch off a powder keg, so forget worrying about that situation. Just like the Iranians, we known how many of us reject this Marxist government. We have seen how Obama handles that type of action, he freezes. We far outnumber any opposition he can muster.

Talk of being unable to repeal Obama Care is bunk. Prohibition was repealed. It even took a Constitutional amendment, but it still got repealed. What is in question is the timing of the repeal effort. Obama must be gone so that a veto can't be imposed thereby requiring 67 Senate votes.

After November we should go for impeachment if the courts and Congress won't ask for quo warranto.

What we should focus on right now is what can be done to disrupt the status quo between now and November.

I am seeing suggestions for various civil disobedience actions. National Strikes, phone call campaigns, rallies, petitions, putting up signs in yards on autos and on streets. A call for House Republicans to stage a walk out in protest.

Your ideas are needed, we must band together or as the founders said "We can hang together or surely we will HANG separately"

  1. I enjoyed reading your post and appreciate the call for continued political engagement. One thing I'm not clear about is how this bill is an example of Marxism. As I understand it, Marxism would mean that the health care industry would be taken over by the federal government, health care professionals would become government employees, health insurance companies would be abolished, health care costs would be paid for through taxes, and out-of-pocket expense for health care would end. I'm not suggesting that these changes would be a good thing, I'm just trying to identify what a Marxist bill would entail.

From what I can tell, the current bill doesn't call for any of the things described above. Clearly, the bill has a variety of mandates (e.g., people not currently covered must purchase health insurance or be penalized, and insurance companies cannot deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions), but this seems more like regulation than a government takeover.

Are there specific policies in the bill that stand out as Marxist? Also, if possible, could you provide a definition of Marxism?

    Thanks.

  2. I will start by quoting the slogan "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs". That pretty well sums up Marxism.
The State is everything, and the individual is subordinate.

This so called Health Care reform is a thinly veiled redisstribute the wealth plan which calls for the subsidizing healthcare by the have's for the have nots.

It is another but gigantic intrusion into the private domain of the American citizen, by a government that says it knowns better how to spend our money than we do.

The entire Bill is repugnate in that it mandates compliance or fines. It is unconstitutional and 38 states Attorneys General agree.

This Bill will be repealed by 2013.
