Accounting Sleight of Hand

More and more is coming to the surface concerning both parties and the theatrical posturing (I call it a Kabuki dance) that they put on for the benefit of us rubes out here in the sticks, to make us believe how heroically they saved us from a last minute catastrophic government shutdown.
It turns out that the “budget cuts” include money left unspent from previous years, earmarks that were going nowhere, unused census money and programs that Obama was already planning to cut.
These people just don’t know how to play it straight it just isn’t in a politician’s nature to be anything but slick.
I grant you $38.5 billion is no small amount of money, however that would just be one percent of the federal budget, and once you strip away the accounting trickery, the real budget cut number is somewhere around 14 billion dollars.
Who are you politicians (Democrats and Republicans) trying to impress with this Now you see it Now you don’t chicanery?
According to the IMF, the U.S. government will have to borrow an amount of money equivalent to 29 percent of GDP this year alone in order to finance its budget deficit and its maturing debt, and that puts us right about at the edge of the cliff.
It becomes rather obvious that neither party intends to do anything to realistically address the financial meltdown we are racing toward.
George Soros has been heard to say: “There can be no One World Government until we collapse the American economy.”
It would appear that the elected incompetents in Washington are hell-bent on helping him accomplish that goal.
The U.S. national debt is now over 14 times larger than it was30 years ago and it is currently rising by well over 4 billion dollars every single day. This debt will destroy our financial system. We are stealing the future from our children and our grandchildren.
Since the single largest shareholder in Fox news is now Prince Waleed of the Saudi Royal Family, and Rupert Murdoch has appointed his son (who is anti Israel and pro Palestinian) as the head of Fox News the total media is now in the tank for the Usurper in Chief, even Oreilly as well as Coulter and almost all of that crowd are now spouting the “he is a legitimate president mantra.”
By the year 2025 or thereabouts, every penny of revenue taken in by the government will be spent on the interest alone. (VIGORISH = usurious interest as in “LOAN SHARK”).
Where we go from there is anyone’s guess.
One thing is for certain, the members of the Congress and the Senate have abrogated their oath of office big time and should all be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, but we all know that won’t happen, as they all look out for each other not the ones they are supposed to be looking out for, us the American people.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
