Packers linebacker forgets ID, can’t get into White House
By Chris Chase @ Yahoo Sports

When the Green Bay Packers visited the White House on Friday to celebrate the team's Super Bowl title, linebacker Desmond Bishop (notes) wasn't with his teammates. He had forgotten his license on the team charter plane and without a license, there's no getting past White House security.

A sample of comments left:

"It's interesting how a man can be elected president without a birth certificate, but a man can't enter the property without an ID - the most secure and protected place in the world.

Oh, side note here. Presidents do not have to gain a top secret security clearance - but anyone wishing to work as an LEO in D.C., visit the White House, do anything remotely close to simple security, all must be approved. Yet, again, we can elect a person whom has no authenticate birth certificate. Pretty funny, really."

"How ironic: where's Obama's bogus ID? Plus, the secret service should have many ways to verify the players identity."

"they let obama in w/out a birth certificate!"

"gee ~ obama entered the white house without a birth certificate !"

"They let obama in without a birth certificate so why not let this guy in without ID?
..total unfair ;-)"

"How did Obama get in....Its being said that he got in the White House with a fake id., maybe the ballplayer could get one of those too and that would resolve the whole mix-up"

"I want to see his ID and birth certificate, yes, the REAL ONE that's in Kenya. Now get out of OUR white house."
