The Birther Summit has increased its offer to purchase an original copy of a Honolulu newspaper to $10,000! An original copy of the August 13, 1961 edition of The Honolulu Advertiser or the August 14, 1961 edition of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin will earn the first bearer $10,000.
Those are the editions of the newspapers in which the purported birth announcement of Barack Obama appeared, and while we understand that the announcement's inclusion in those newspapers would not be conclusive proof that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii (as there were circumstances that would have allowed for them to appear without a Hawaii birth actually occurring), the only evidence anyone has actually seen of the birth announcements has been copies of microfiche versions of those newspapers, and they contain suspicious anomalies. As with the vault version of Obama's birth certificate (which has still not been forensically verified to be a valid document, or even to exist), we would like an opportunity to inspect one of these actual newspapers rather than purported representations of them.
The Birther Summit is aware that the existence of an original copy of one of these two newspapers might be fairly unlikely; however, August 13, 1961 was also the day that the first reports of the Berlin Wall's construction appeared in newspapers around the globe. For that reason, we believe that someone in Honolulu may have saved and stored a copy of one of them.
To redeem this reward, individuals may submit photographic evidence of their possession of one of those two newspapers to dean@birthersummit.org at which time instructions will be provided regarding the purchase process that will be brokered through our attorney's office.
Additionally, The Birther Summit's Executive Director, Dean Haskins, will be at the District Court building in Honolulu on September 14 to show public support for Dr. Orly Taitz, who will be appearing for her motion to compel against Hawaii's Department of Health Director Loretta Fuddy. Taitz has requested a show of support from anyone who can possibly be at the courthouse that day, and The Birther Summit Operations Team decided that, because of Orly's tireless pursuit of justice against the illegal occupant of the White House, the least we can do is show her our public support and gratitude. We also urge anyone else who can be there in support of Orly to do so, and we are currently in talks with patriots in Hawaii to arrange for their presence at the courthouse that day.
Since Dean Haskins will be in Honolulu during the week of September 14, we urge anyone interested in claiming the $10,000 offer for an original copy of one of the two newspapers listed above to spend some time searching to locate one, as the purchase could be simplified by the transaction taking place while Mr. Haskins is on the island. Now is the time to start your treasure hunt!
Also, as neither Colin Powell nor the four television commentators have responded to our $15,000 challenge (www.15000dollarchallenge.com), we suggest that our readers start emailing and urging that one of them spend a mere three hours of his time with us so that a charity might see the benefit of a $15,000 check! We certainly hope they aren't so frightened of the evidence that they would keep their favorite charity from receiving this money—although, so far, they've done a pretty good job of evading the truth!

Finally, in response to a question we have been asked, The Birther Summit would like to assure those who have donated to our cause that funds that have been donated via our website and to our post office box will be used only for administrative and operational expenses that are incurred for The Birther Summit event itself, and funds for other initiatives such as the $15,000 challenge, the $10,000 offer for the Hawaiian newspaper, and travel expenses to be in Honolulu to support Orly Taitz do not, and will not, come from those donations. Those other initiatives have been privately funded specifically for those purposes.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
