It is a good thing that I am retired from active duty, because my reaction to some of the absolute crap coming out of Clowntown D.C. these days would probably have me in the stockade on bread and water for G-d knows how long.
Just the financial blundering these boobs generate is enough to make you gag in disgust.
It seems pretty obvious that the elite crowd (who think of themselves as PATRICIANS) must have been absent from school the day that ECON 101 was being discussed, or at the very least, had their head stuck in the wrong orifice (as demonstrated by their total lack of financial expertise.
We are mired so deep in debt that we will never be able to pay it off in our lifetime, (like being in debt to a loan shark , you no pay da vigorish we breaka you kneecaps) yet these idiots continue shipping foreign aid overseas when we can’t even pay our own bills.
There is talk of cutting pay scales for our soldiers and/or reducing social security, but I don’t think even these bozo’s are that stupid, but then again one never knows, does one?
For those of us on social security, and/or military retirement, we have seen no cost of living raise (COLA) for three years but the Elites kept getting theirs (prove me wrong).
I received an interesting bit of information yesterday in my e-mail (I receive a lot but manage to read it all), and thought this would be a good place to insert it.

“Our salaries are justified because we do important work for the country!”
Please, stop doing such important work before our country fades into oblivion.

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
Agreed, along with a 75% reduction in office staff and hangers on, allowances, taxpayer subsidized food, drink, cars, cut agency staffing and the Pentagon by the same amount, a no frills, no perks, government.
