The Terry Lakin Story, "OFFICER'S OATH,"
may become a movie. We need your help.

For Immediate Release
2/13/2013

There is substantial interest in creating a film adaptation of the Terry Lakin Story, "OFFICER'S OATH." Commander Taffy Productions formed to Pursue the Film (http://www.commandertaffy.com)

This is a poignant, heroic story that must not be forgotten, or falsely relegated to the "conspiracy theory" chapter in the annals of our national history.

Terry knowingly sacrificed his military career, endured a court-martial, and ultimately spent nearly half a year in Leavenworth Prison simply for standing up for the Constitution he pledged to uphold and defend. His story is detailed in the book "An Officer's Oath," which is recommended reading for anybody who reveres this country and the Constitution by which we were successfully governed for so many years.

Officer's Oath tells the sometimes harrowing, sometimes inspirational true story of Doctor and 17-year U.S. Army veteran, Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, who sacrificed his distinguished military career--and his very freedom--to preserve the integrity of the United States Constitution.

Commander Taffy Productions was formed to create feature-length motion pictures with poignant, uplifting messages. Stories that touch hearts and challenge minds are at the heart of the projects we intend to produce, bringing together some of the best talents in the industry as well as introducing up-and-coming stars to the viewing public. The first film will be Terry's story.

Please take a few minutes today and do the following:

* Visit the production site: http://www.commandertaffy.com
* Read the main page, the letter from the producers, and draft storyline.

Then consider being a contributor to the development of this film. We need $25,000 as seed capital to do the research, line up addition funding sources, and prepare the full plan for the film. There is a "CONTRIBUTE" button on the site. Or you can mail checks made out to the "Terry Lakin Action Fund" and mail them to "Terry Lakin Action Fund, PO Box 1116, Bel Air, MD 21014." Put MOVIE in the memo field.

Finally, go back and review the material on the other sites listed on the right of the http://www.commandertaffy.com site. Every citizen needs to be reminded of what Terry did in defense of the constitution.

His message of patriotism, resolve, commitment to the Constitution, and ultimately the growth of this faith in prison, is a story that needs to be told and told widely.

Will you help us today? Will you help tell Terry's story?
